24 right into 12/12?

I was wondering if I should "adjust" my plants from 24 hour light to 20/4 or 18/6 before i flip them? They have had 24 hours of light since the clone machine.

Also, i know it is debate often, but if you care maybe give your opinion on if 24 hours of light is a waste anyway, and what you use for veg.


and finally i saw a thread debating wheter or not to give your plants 24 hours of darkness before 12/12, or just give them 12 hours of darkness and then 12/12.

I do seedlings at 24 hours.. veg 18/6 and do not do any 'adjust' cycle before throwing them into 12/12.. Not saying that's necessarily better or worse than other guys methods, but it works for me.. good luck

I don't veg clones at all apart from when the roots are forming. When I have roots the clones go straight on to 12/12.

Straight into 12/12, but I do SOG'S, single cola style, 4 per sq/ft. This way I can keep the plant short. People who do SCROGS or grow trees need veg time.

I am just finishing a two month veg. I am happy with the size, and they are ready to be flipped, i just don't know if i should give them 24 hours of darkness first, or just 12

Straight to 12/12 is fine. Though my last grow I gave them 48+ hours of darkness and they responded very very well to the switch by showing crowns in under 7 days . I think I will do this again after this veg cycle is complete .

Oh yeah and 24/0 all the way baby!!!

this is what i have been told, by a reliable resource, he says to go 24hr. during veg, 18/6 at pre-flower, 48 dark then 12/12
but i have gone into 12/12 straight from 18/6, without the 24hr. on, with no ill effects, cept it seemed to take a long time to show signs of flowering.
