I rarely have used 24 hours for veg.....

but I did have a bet with a guy whether it could be done....

I bet .... I can flower under 14 hours .....

he says....no way......

I won......

For my neck of the woods...... the sunrise sunset tables show we hit 12-12 only as the first day of frost is expected.....

the last couple days in september

nice, i was just wondering a plant will flower @ 12 hours, but what if you went from 24 hours and cut back to 14 hours of light? Or if you flipped em under 18 hours to 14 will they still flower? Thanks....

What I generally find.....

Is that plants seem to need 18 hours of CONTINUOUS light to prevent my clones from getting fuzzy......

At 16 hours they want to fuzz up.....

however if you split the dark time..... 16 hours is easily sufficient to keep them in veg.....

something like....

12-4-4-4 on-off-on-off

While I havent run this .....you could probably do 14 hrs on.....

with

12-5-2-5
I would be interested to see if you could keep a plant in veg with say 10 hours of light....

something like..... 3on 4off 3 on 4 off 3on 4off 1 on and 2 off.....

now thats a question.........

I always rather use less light if possible = less electricity cost.

Haven't found any upside of doing 24/0 so far.
