Do they still make them, preferably in cfl, but pl-l or even big tubes? I've seen pics of maxgrow 2100k cfl bulbs, but can't find a place to buy them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Correct me if im wrong here, I grow with T-5's not CFL's but in Kelvin terms I thought you wanted 6500K or 6700K for veg and 3500K for flower

Well if your trying to get in the flower spectrum with T'5 floros you use 3500K
if that helps...

You can get 2700K PL-L lamps in the 55w, not sure about other wattages. Haven't seen any U.S. suppliers but you can pick up a case of them from a few places in Hong Kong. Even with shipping it's worth it, if you're going to use a full case over the next several years. You can get 3000K lamps in the U.S. from a few different suppliers and online stores. They flower out just fine :D

I'd say pick up a few extra ballasts and convert some of your indoor lighting to PL-L.
