Its not how hard you get hit, its how hard you get hit and still get back up.
When I was young, I used to bodysurf the rivers around Westchester, like Black Rock.
Sometimes the surfing was mellow, sometimes it was rocky. But it was always fun.
I popped 1,300 seeds this Spring over a few waves of germination.
After mice, chipmunks, and NorCal thrips, I have around 45 amazingly resistant plants.
After the PNW climate of 9 straight months of rain, the mountain mediterranean/desert climate of Napa county is an awesome relief.
Highs of 110°f ought to help increase THCV.
Lows were steadily in the high 70’s, but are now heading into the low 60’s.
There hasnt been rain since March/April.
Smoke from the fires created a unique hue of the Sun’s rays, helping to trigger some strains eary. A reemergence of thrips slowed that trigger down. Thrips are finally gone.
Plants are loving the native soil.
Bay Laurel all around seems to be influencing the terpene expression of the plants. Instense lime, lemon smells. Speaking of Lime, all the BLR and OGKxBLR plants have a strong like popsicle smell.
Time Tunnel’s #101 has this same smell with a broader array of accompanying smells.
#101 came from a collection of enigmatically labeled seeds spaning from the late 60’s to the 80’s that was shared with me by TT.
It looks like Mexi x Affy or even Mexi x Affy x Thai. Lemme know if you see anything Lumbo in them.
Their resistance surmounts pretty much the whole garden and they’ve always had robust dark green/blue leaves, even when all the plants were hurting.
This line is really surprising and impressing me. I am F2’ing it, 2 females and 2 males. They are all pretty similar if not uniform. Adding the uniformity to their resistances and vigor, I’m certain these are an F1 from way back.
Complimenting the BLR and OGK x BLR, I have Goldentree’s ChemX x Chem95 and GSCxChem95
ChemX = Chem91 S1 and Chem95 = Chem91 x Chem4
Today I took a female OGKxBLR and a female GSCxChem95 and pollinated them with these males: BLRf4, OGKxBLRf3, ChemXxChem95, GSCxChem95, Bubba Kush x OldTimeMoonshine.
I have another BLR female that I think I will only pollinate with BLR and OGKxBLR males.
