Here are some plants I started in the past month or two. All of these plants just come up and flower immediately--it's very frustrating. I use to get some big beautiful Sativas from seed, but now all the beans I get my hands on are Indicas and come up and go right into flowering.
No idea real. This small grow is just the last unknown bagseed I had left over after a bad run of luck. My goal here is to produce as many seeds as possible so I can run a larger grow and HOPEFULLY find a few plants with some Sativa genetics that I can cross until I get my hands on some pure Sativa seeds...
Hi Gist, nice plants! Can you tell us a little bit about your growing conditions like weather and altitude. Your in Coasta Rica correct? We had a very good grower posting from there years ago, chaman. He also had problems with indica plants flowering at six inches tall. I did too here in Colombia but hybrids did very well.
red rider buddy you got it, my location is between 8 and 11 N Latitude. I have a 6 month dry season and a 6 month rainy season (now in the dry season).
Vostok, exactly autoflowering--BUMMER!!
Here is the lucky couple I'm crossing for some seeds ASAP and a group shot.
Hey Gist what elevation are you at, do you know? And also I found growing even indica in bigger pots or directly in the ground will make them grow bigger.
Hey guys!! Blan-k-flor I've been reading through your older threads (again)--great stuff! Red rider I am between 1,100mts (3,500ft). I'll get some in larger pots and some in the ground as soon as possible.
Yeah! Absolutely--that's the goal. It's driving me crazy not having more beans to sprout right now, and unfortunately I have plenty of time on my hands right now as I'm on something like a sabbatical from work...
Looking good Gist . I have never grown any plants outdoors and doubt i ever will where i live, We don't get the weather for that type of sport unfortunately, Keep up the good work mate' Crumpledtrumpet.
Updating here, these little midgets are interesting. The male (far right) I picked to as a keeper to use for pollination actually has more trichomes than I noticed before, and a lot more than the only other male I have. The only other interesting picture is of the small plant, it was a tiny little thing-runt that I didn´t think was going to do anything, but now it´s putting up some new growth. It´s fun to deal with the unexpected with no expectations of these plants what-so-ever... Just seeing what happens.
