2015 is coming to a close. What was your fastest finisher this year?

I am just north of the 45th parallel and it was a strange year for plants finishing. Some plants finished as expected, a few were earlier and some took longer.

What strains were your best and fastest finishers?

I grew 7 different strains and thought an Afghani or a Northern Lights would be ready first.

The only Blue Dream I have ever grown was first in the bag. I figured it for last.

I only grew two strains outside this year and I ran them as long as I felt comfortable before we had a stretch of cold rain come though (middle of October) otherwise I would have ran them another week or two. GG4 was one and the other were Lemon Diesel x Apollo11G F4s.

That Lemon Diesel x Apollo11G sounds interesting. How was yield/taste/potency?

My neighbor grew some Candyland x Apollo 11 that I gave him.

They were done by about October 15.

The Sativa phenotype lasted longer, about a week.

Beautiful sun-soaked spears ... what was surprising was that they got that far with that little sun. Towards the end, his place is in the shade and he didn't want to make the deer fence that would have allowed him to use the sunny part of my front yard.

I have some good Starbud, Liberty Haze, my own Candy x Apollo (Indica pheno) ... and I'm still sorry to run low on the Sativa pheno.

Growing outdoors definitely makes a person appreciate finishing times.

Don't mind the cut and paste from the Bodhi thread,

#1 & 2 - Both smelled similar with a little acidic lemon smell kind of like a lemon rind but sweet. One of these had just a little more sugary bubblegum back end.

#3 Had no smell at all, not even hay. It's weird but I've never had a plant do that.

#4 - Like some aromatic hops, sweet and a little cotton candy

#5 - Smelled of some kind of fuel or diesel with an orange rind thrown in

#6 - Like a cleaning product, pinesol

#7 - Sweet and fruity but no acidic citrus in it. Vanilla in the background

#8 - Pencil shavings/faint cedar. Some kind of aromatic wood.

Potency is good. Depending on which pheno the high ranges from more clear and uplifting to a good couchy stone that isn't too strong.

Yes it does!

43N. Mandala #1 and Satori in swamp tubes. Everyone finished on time.
What is a swamp tube HipsterDoofus?

Had just finished reading your Bodhi post who dat is. Thank you.

Also...how does the multi-quote work?

Just hit the muli quote button on the right and then hit post like you normally would to reply to a post.

For me it was the tried and true Arcata train wreck clone from norcal, always an early finisher, can be pulled mid September but I took mine Oct 5 to let it get nice and fat... she's so quick I threw another mom out on Oct 10th, should be done by dec. 10th... 2 for 1 :)

Thin stems that needs serious support... but soo worth it, that smell and taste is undescribable, super menthol thing going on that really opens up the airways after one hit, good for people with weak

That sounds amazing! Does the Arcata trainwreck differ from trainwreck? Sounds like interesting genetics to play with if I can get it in seed form.

C99 from Mosca and Super Skunk from Sensi finished mid September and could have pulled sooner here in socal. Seemed about a week or two earlier than normal. Later strains finished on time though.

yes its the actual clone that started the hype, grown from seed its a 70+ day strain but this arcata pheno is a freak 55 day finisher... so you wont find much luck in seed form as far as finishing time goes but you will get the taste/smell (which is one of a kind), translates well in crosses also, purple trainwreck is a personal fav and can be had in seedform...

im making some trainwreck x fire og bx so itll be interesting testing those, hoping for lemon menthol fuel :)
