2015 Guerrilla - Seed to Finish (all outdoor)

***THIS IS NOT A GUIDE***
So I need to go from seed to bud OUTDOORS start to finish this year, and I've already started..
late mind you.. but knee high by July will be mighty fine.

Started things (mostly) inside of juice and soda bottles with the tops cut off
and slid back on to make a mini-planetarium.

Works out good in the bush when you dont want to set up an actual greenhouse .

Sorry bout the crap pic.

Put this one in a 5 gallon bucket and spared no chickenwire.
Might transplant it later, but it had too much stretch to move as it was.
Some stuff already in the ground:

Small and short temporary protection fence.

More temporary protection

Sorta funky looking, but i think she is pulling out of it.

Got more to show and plenty of work to do this summer.
Feel like im off to a late start , but lets see how things play out.
Sorry.. had more to show , but limited to 5 pics per post

Some vintage 2011 Auoria indica seed popped too
They were old stock when I got them at a special price from bou.
Reporting that 2 out of 3 still pop . nice results for old stock.
Will post pics of them soon.

Later,
-D.D.

Nice man, I'm following you. I think we are in the same situation. I germinated the seeds in the water and then I put them in little pots. They started their life outdoors in guerrilla, so no indoor first.

I'm really excited to see how they turn out!

Good luck! :tiphat:

Looks good bro, love growing in the Appalachians! Seems more like an extreme sport here, due to the fly overs and laws. We really have to focus on security and stealth or were screwed! I'm sort of getting a late start as well, I really don't think were running late though to be honest, I think were just "later" than usual, I know I am. Its not really too late until mid July or after imo. But what is crucial is having those plots and holes prepped and dug! Stay green brother! Are you around the daniel boone national forest?

An extreme sport that will either keep one strong , healthy , and alert or give us a heart attack carrying water into the brush.
Those overflights really bend the trees over and make me cringe.
Hopefully IR trailcams havent become too advanced , I used to be able to see those dim red flashes , havent noticed any this year.

The unusually cold spring got me behind.
I'm catching up now , but worrying about yield.
At least the bugs aren't eating every sprout this year.

Stay green brother! Are you around the daniel boone national forest?

Do you recognize the nick , or was that a lucky guess?

Good Luck your gona need it

Agreed.
Mother nature has been tending to those little seedlings for way too long now.
I am way behind on nute/water schedule and a hard drought has stunted growth.

Its going to be a long rough road this summer.

My plan is to focus on the most thriving plant from a pair of sites.
If the others do well , they will do well on their own.

2 real good plants is all i really need for personal meds , anything over 2 and i can afford to get recreational-roasted once in a while.

I checked up on things a few days ago.

Here is the one that was put in a 5 gallon bucket when it was first transplanted:

and here is a pic of it from a few days ago:

More good luck , but it looks like i will be snipping away at wire before long:

And along with the good luck comes the bad:
picture.php

Dont know if it died of thirst , or if a bug or a slug got to it.
Maybe a bird got it.

Thats a brief update of how things are going.

Have a couple that seem to be suffering from stunted growth.

Also added some nutes my last trip out to the sites.

looking good. Make sure to cut that wire back or they can grow into it and become a nightmare to untangle without hurting the plant. Best of luck with the rest of your season.

Good Luck with everything. Sounds like we both been suffering through spring and early summer.

im following along as well D.D. always nice to have another wildcat in the mix to learn from.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hopefully this weather will get back to normal before long.

Cant wait for the pics.
Thanks for stopping by.

The weather seems to be leveling out and becoming more predictable now.
Maybe the early drought is the making of a nice wet August.
I can only hope
:)

Good Advice.

Thanks for the good wishes gorilla ganja.

Already had to cut the wire back from the bucket grow , and it was a real pain , i forgot to take wire clippers.

I really do need to get back up there before too long tho.

Old Kaintuck can be a bitch to grow in at times can't it? Harvest can be good though. Good luck and keep your head down.

Time for a small update , only a pic of the rock & log grow this time .

picture.php

I can see the difference 2 weeks has made from here , hard to tell from the field .

The blue stuff is miracle grow , it will rain in an hour will turn it to liquid .

If i am to have any yield i will hit it with heavy doses of 20-0-0 once a week for the next 2 weeks and cut back to flowering nutes .

The bucket grow is doing well too , just didn't snap a pic .

Mother nature has been good to me this year , and this is the year i had my doubts about .

Coming along nicely now, once they get a few roots out and get to that size they really take off. Where did you find the 20-0-0 miracle grow , I looked everywhere and could not find a powder all Nitrogen fertilizer locally.I settled for a 30-10-10.
Get them in the ground earlier next yr. my friend.
Best of luck with the rest of your season.
Peace GG
