2014 El Nino threat diminishing

Call me selfish but it looks like el nino may miss us this year, my first big year outdoors I have every penny and time invested i need a dry year and we're looking good. rain all it wants Nov through April just don't ruin my plants. Thank you

What are your sources? I am a fisherman and the fish tell another story. Sub-Tropical species that aren't often seen in my parts are coming north which means the oceans are warmer than usual. Warmer oceans means more evaporation. Ask a fisherman and we will say it started already. I also hope for no September rains, no October rains is just wishful thinking.
