Hello all,
I am starting this thread for my new and improved indoor rooms. Hadn't been updated in 5 or so years so it was past due. We gutted our area and reinsulated the walls with R19, then lined the walls with 1.5" foam board and 2" foam board on the ceilings. Taped all the seems on the ceiling swell as sealing all the walls with caulk and/or foam insulation. The room dimensions is about 50' x 15' x 9' this was spit into two symmetrical rooms with a space in-between for all of our rezs, nutrients, etc. Three rows of 3 nanolux de 1000W lights in each room (15' x 15' x 9') light grid with about 3' of extra space on the sides facing the middle room. 2 x 2 ton mini splits (one for each room). The rooms also have 2 x 10" max fans that are hard ducted lines that recirculate the air between the two rooms. Basically, one room will be on and cooled using both split systems. Its pretty much a flip box except I have 2 x power box 15000 powering each room instead of using a flip box. 20lb CO2 tanks have been lasting about 2wks and keep both rooms at 1000ppm ( will bump it up to 1200ppm when I'm flowering). shooting for 2-3 units per light. Will post some pictures in the next couple days of the new rooms. Happy growing.

Gladta see such attention to detail......Rule of thumb on cooling is 4000 btu`s of cooling per each 1KW , so hopefully the 2 inline fans will help cool the rooms with constant recirculation ?...

I`d weigh on the side of total environmental control and up the mini-splits to 3 ton units for good solid insurance....not trying to tell yas what to do bro, just an educated and experienced suggestion....

Running right at 40 watts per sq ft with the new DE fixtures has me focused on your outcome compared to conventional HID runs with 50 watts per sq ft , so good luck on your new rooms Bro....I`ll be over here on my bucket if yas don`t mind.....

Respect....DHF.....:ying:....

So I have 48,000 cooling btu's for 9 lights and my 180pt active air dehu.
that is 5333.33 cooling btu's per light... should suffice. I am also above 9000' in the rocky mountains about 3 miles from the continental divide. Right now my temps are 68-70 with 38% humidity. fluctuation is nonexistent yet. The inline fans are both 1000+cfm fans so circulation is not an issue. Both rooms will be at equilibrium with both ac's cooling.

Not the best photographer but ill try to take more photos as things get going here. Should have the first room flipped in about 2 wks. The second room should be getting filled in about a week but i have to veg those plants for a few weeks after that. Should pull down first harvest around mid-late december followed with the second room a month after that (mid-late jan). After that it should just be dialed with my turnover rate... ill have vegg-ed out plants ready to go to fill them up as soon as the room is empty. Happy farming! Now i just have to finish the greenhouse season!!

Looking wicked! Quick questions...Hand water or drip? What are the plans for run off?

I have hand watered for the past 10 yrs but have designed and built many drop systems. The first run in both rooms will be hand water then I will be doing a drop system for ski season haha. I try to water so I have little runoff and I'll have a mop if needed after the watering. But with our 180pt dehu and the 9 double ended lights should mediate the little bit of water leftover
