2 Weeks into Flower - Leaves starting to die

Hi All,

I'll give you a quick rundown of my setup . . .

Using a 250W air cooled light in a grow-tent thats approx 60cm by 60cm.
Groing Swiss Cheese and Mazar from Gypsy Nirvanas seed boutique.

Soil mixture was 50% Plagrons Lightmix and 50% Plagrons Batmix.
Have started watering with Bio Canna Flores (3mL/1L) every few days and Bio Canna Boost (1mL/1L) at the same time.
Between these times I top up the watering with tap water.
Soil PH looks slightly alkaline.

Leaves on the lower branches are the only ones that seem to be affected so far with some plants worse then others.
Am I doing something obviously wrong here?
The bud hairs are starting to form, I really dont want this to fail now - any help would be much appreciated.

cheers!

Hey bud I wouldn't worry to much as long as they are not suffering nute burn and you are feeding the bloom nutes things should be alright.

The bottom leaves will die off as the plant uses available N and mine are looking exactly like yours.

Plants go through that kinda stuff from time to time. Its just sucking nutes from leaves to feed your buds. Its a good thing.

Interesting enough i ran into this issue just recently using new nutes for the first full round. My lower leaves only looked exactly like that and I thought the same a week later is was very obvious that it had moved up the plant and was a Calcium deficiency. If the problem persists, i would check into that.

Looks like the are hungry for P and maybe a little bit of K (I think I see a little bit of burned margin on one or two of the pics), did you use any PK booster like PK 13/14? Also, try to lower the pH slowly, because you can start to get lockout if you go too high. They are right though, some of the mobile nutrients will get pulled out of leaves (starting with the older ones) to feed the plant in flower.

What is your water source?
Looks like what usually happens to me around week 3-4 of flower from the hardness of my water. My water has about 150 ppm of calcium carbonate which, no matter how I try to buffer, I can't seem to combat.
I have found that spreading a tablespoon or so of garden sulfer helps a bit, but its slow acting...
I use pro-mix with 10% WC and no dolomite added.

Don't worry too much though I've always had success even with the problems, although your yield definitely will suffer.
