2 weeks from harvest and i find seeds! Help!

Noob here... I am 2 weeks from harvest and I have taken some popcorn bud and dried it to test and have discovered seeds! Either I did not cull males soon enough or I had a hermie somewhere.

So the questions is now what should I do? Do I continue and harvest with the seeds and still smoke it or do I end it early and still smoke it or do I turn it to hash or what? LOL

All suggestions appreciated!

Find the source of the problem first. If it was due to male pollination, I'd let the plants finish maturing, smoke or do a hash run with the flowers and grow out the seeds.

Big difference between seeds from male pollen or seeds from a hermi, IMO.

depends on how long into flower you developed the seeds and how many seeds are forming.. if its just on the bottom buds and your main cola is seedless, it will still be top notch smoke..

even seeded homegrown smokes better than seeded brick.

good advice to grow out the seeds if it was indeed a male.. if it was herm, just toss em, you will just cause yourself more headaches.. Nothing worse than a shit hermie ruining all your other virgins

A few random seeds won't affect your quality. Now if it's hundreds in the bud then you might have a problem but I wouldn't worry too much about 4-5 seeds spread out in a few buds

Definitely scout the room for a hermi, especially if you took clones from these plants. I'd suggest waiting for the seeds to mature or at least fully swell before you harvest. It will be easier to separate the seed from the herb if they are mature. This way you wont end up smoking a bunch of premature seeds still hidden and stuck in the bud once its dry. If the herb is way to seeded to puff, I'd make concentrates with it.

I guess I will wait for the chop and then look at my seed numbers.
I really think it was from pulling the males to late, this was my first time and I was likely slow on the draw. I have 72 plants so i guess there could be a hermie in there but it would be hiding pretty good...

The bright side it the next crop is certainly all female and should not have this issue.

I wonder how that would impact the pricing?

i've even had some herm within the bud themselves, you couldn't even see the male flowers until you cut the bud off the stem and it would be hiding in there.. fortunately the pollen only made it to that bud, but those things sometimes hide in tricky places./

Make sure you fully break up a cola before that, I've had stuff that looked GREAT, just a few seeds in the popcorn buds & nobody minded......

Until they broke it up good. All came back

That was a 1/2 pound sized outdoor male that knocked up 5 similar sized girls, so there was A LOT of pollen.

No, there is hash plant, blueberry, a cross of kush and burmese and a cross of mk ultra and some other kush maybe OG, all seeds are from 2 different BC based seed companies. So these are not bag seed.

I would consider collecting the seeds and at the least make them into seed bombs for the great outdoors
All and all, much of what people are using as breeding parents are bag seed from days gone by if ya really think about it.
Did you rotate your plants at all since pulling males early on? Look for areas in the room where seed production has been heaviest amongst plants and try to remember if males had been there once, it might help ya get an idea whether the pollen source was male or intersex.

I have rotated them since so I would be hard pressed to know what was where a month ago. LOL But that is indeed a good idea!

I do like the seed bomb idea! That sounds like a lot of fun! Also once I see how many plants have seeds and how many, I might save and pop a few to see what kind of Frankenstein I have created. All for educational purposes of course!

My first question is why you would try to run 72 plants on your first time around.

LOL, exactly, why not! I have been an avid veggie gardener for years and do not feel intimidated by new types of plants and I have the room so hey! it is all good other than this glaring boo boo LOL. I will certainly not have this issue with the next group due to them being clones.

dude ur going to have the problem if its a light leak or a stress related issue.. clones sometimes will hermi more often then the original.. and if the original didnt hermi at all. the clone can hermi.. u gotta test .. i made the same mistake.. and had a bunch of strains and shit.. now im finaly realizing.. ya it was a great idea.. but not worth it wen it comes to learning.. u need to be able to dial in strains.. doing more then 10 is amazingly difficult!
