2 ton AC enough for 10x10 w 6000w

I was at my local hydro store and the guy was trying to sell me a large stand up ductless AC unit. It was around 2900

I asked about the mini splits as I have seen a couple used on here. I could get a 2.5 ton mini split for the same price or less than the one at the hydro store.

He said they're not as good but I thought I would ask on here.

Anyone have any info for me? I'd like to order it asap.

The 3 ton idea air will work well, I've 2 friends running them with seal 6ks, dehuey, and co2 burners fine

3k is pricey for a 2 ton. if you're in that price range i'd want to be getting a super high seer rating or a stealth series unit with an isolated compressor.

for 6k i'd look at 2.5-3ton.

free shipping full US.

they work good. seer rating is poor though. might want to look at something with 15 stage 2 or 16.

it says ac only but it comes with a heat strip. which you'd want to just go ahead and throw out cus its a piece of shit. but yeah those goodmans are cheap and work well.

I am looking at the Ideal Air Mini Split AC Unit at 24k BTU. Will this do for a 20 x 25 room running 8k watts?

maripan you need more. i have 2.5ton to cool 4k. using aircooled hoods. i'd feel comfortable running 4k barebulb/vert, or 6k in aircooled. max.

2 ton is cutting it too close. you would squeak by with a 30k btu but a 3 ton would be better.

ductless = mini split.
