2 tier pic case grow

I would love to veg and flower in the same large pc case. I currently grown in 2 spacebuckets however I want something even more stealth.

I grow in yogurt cups so my veg compartment only needs to be 10" and the rest 18" can be flower.

I found one older case but I need to figure out how to make a floor out of the middle divider the easiest way possible. I use flush 10w soldrless leds so they do not take any height.

Ideas?

honestly it just easier to have a small seperate veg box than to separate a pc sure it can be done but we're already working with limited space and you might aswell use all the space you can for when flowering time comes.

Also if running in yogurt cups how much veg time do you really need ? maybe a bit over a week to two and their maxed out, make more sense to just run in cycles instead of perpetual if only wanting one pc.

Or you could pick up a micro ATX case or hollow out an old shelf speaker if wanting to go real small, but after a point it's more novelty than actual growing, and that's coming from me.

was thinking about making separate chamber in my case but I would need custom made pc case coz they are not making that big pc cases which could accommodate two chambers inside. two times bigger/wider full tower pc case would be enough but then think having two full towers would be better and more stealthy than to have unusual size big ASS pc case lol maybe some server rack or something similar would do :D

I love this line.

haha. I love going as small as possible, it has became my new hobby. I only need 3-4oz a year for personal usage...and I like to keep it simple. Using yogurt cups I only need bloom nutes, Very little soil, and I can use my new LED 10w lights perfectly.

Thank you MR.Sparkle for your threads, truly inspiring.

Here are my lights I use, this is in my flower bucket, roughly 44w of PURE LED power!

So far I think I will use an antec p100

You can see the white lines, is where it would need to be light proofed from the left side. I beleive simple gorilla tape over the holes would work. However I have no idea how wide this area is in the case. Will their still be a gap when the side cover is on?

There is 1 fan in the front, 1 in rear for exhaust. If I do create a 2 tier pc grow case, I can also run another fan in the top for another intake. This would get around any headache of trying to make passive intake between both levels. Seems simple, just need to find out how to block the levels. The hd trays can come out completely. This is small but should fit 2-4 small yogurt cup veg plants/clones then move them to flower after 1 week veg.

fyi, Bogan my smaller pc case "corsair 330r" is a tad smaller than the P100, also my other case is a P280 which is larger by a couple inchs in height and length than the p100, but i prefer my smaller case.

Done, I think my veg cab might have way too much power, 12w. Running 6x2w leds

Flower cab is running 4w leds x 6 for 24w. I might add another 3-4 leds to flower cab.

Need to tidy up wiring. Not much room inside for the power supplies, oh well they can go behind the box. I also need to find a tray so I can setup a bottom feed wicking tray. I already have the fabric, and might create one from a rubber ware somehow. This way I can go a week between feedings.

My schedule will be
1.take 1-2 clones
2. Wait 2-3 weeks til they root and start the vegging process
3. Veg for 1 week
4. Straight to flower for 9-10 weeks

I should have a small harvest of 1 -2 plants every 4 weeks yielding 5-10g a plant. Enough for me. Even on the small side of things , 5 g from 2 plants every 4 weeks works out to 130g a year, for 4.6 oz a year. I'm hoping I can get 7-10g which would double this. 4 oz a year is my annual needs.

24 watts? are you sure that is enough light for a decent yield?

So after trial and error, there can be no veg time. I will either keep it in veg till I see growth, or put straight into flower. I will test this on my next run.

Had a male plant and will restart this.

Having a few issues with light leaks, I need to sit down and come up with a solution. Maybe a piece of plywood would work as the divider instead.
