2 plants in 12/12.. only one is flowering + No top cola :(

my girls have been enjoying the 12/12 regimine for a while now and i can see real flowers forming on one plant but the other doesnt seem to be developing any. she only has her preflower sites and HUGE fan leaves compared to the other one. maybe she's just slow growing?

on the right, no flowers yet.. HUGE fan leaves when compared to other plant.

i also FIMed both plants and i think i may have done it wrong cuz i have NO top colas on both. on the stronger flowering plant, the top has grown leaves but there are no flowers forming a top cola. the second plant also has no top cola and it seems everyhting from the tip of the second plant is missing. no flowers, and not much leaves. you think these will form during the flowering stage or will one of my branches develop a top cola on its own?

Yes you FIMd wrong, youre supposed to cut half the emerging leafs just so it stunts it for a week but continues growing.

Give it more time to flower the topping delayed you 1 week so thats 1 week longer to reach vegetative maturity. keep em under 12/12 and shell go when ready. On the plus side your harvest will be sleightly staggered allowing you to maximize your lighting footprint.

When you want to grow a single top cola, then you don't top or fim, you just let it grow. By training in the way that you have you are aiming to grow a bush rather than a cola. If you keep it vegging, then each of the new branches will eventually form into a cola, but you'll need to leave it vegging rather than flowering. By the way, nice aim on the fim, its hard as fuck not to miss when F.I.M.ing.

Lysol - im kinda sad about my NUTE BURNED plant. i want 2 good plants, not just one good one. so so sad. you think it'll survive?

GMT - thanks for the info my brother. it was my first time fimming and i found out later that LA con may not be the best to TOP or FIM with.



im just hoping that second plant doesnt give up and starts to flower soon. i can see some bud sites.. but no real flowers.

both plants are the same. they are clones from a FEMALE LA CONfidential plant


and i have it in a DWC 18 gal rubbermaid bucket.
