Hi Im new here...I jumped ship from another forum...hope you dont mind, I like it over here better. The specs-2 ruderalisx clones in one tub w 3/4 bag of ocean forest. Living on plain water and under shoplights for the month that Ive had them. I lstd them for awhile but it kinda came apart. They were a foot tall and topped when I got them...still under the flouros for now. Day 1 12/12 was the 26th. They had a 36hr dark period first with no significant (yet) results...they were on 24/0...what do you think

...ahh the end of day 2 before lights out. You may notice I have broken out a jalopy 400 hps to throw over them for the few hours a day while I am home. It is a pain in the ass but I just dont trust that thing enough to be gone for the whole day...no to mention the noise it makes :yoinks: Sooo...its shopies supplimented by a lil hps when convenient...he he here it is hangn on my shower rod. So Im calling this a rud x because the friend who gave it to me called it that (actually he calls it kush as well...gulp...no not that one) Hes had it for years and gives it to friends who grow outdoor because it flowers no matter what outside...inside it needs 20/4 or better to not flower. Now some would scoff at growing a rud indoors but when I saw a random one my friend had in his garden I loved the way it looked...huge calayxes and thick white hairs...medium stone...I like it...the flavor is 'familiar' and kick ass...it smells skunky now...as far as the 36 hours of dark...I guess I was hoping for a bunch of magical overnight hairs, considering its dying to flower and has been on 24/0...well thanks for stopping by and any and all comments. ps sorry for the keychain camera pics...the lighting can be elusive to say the least :chin:

sunset day 3...

inside the canopy...

a look down at the girls...

...I have a horizontal hood for that 400 but since Im throwing it up here and there its just easy to hang it for now. I was amazed at how close I could have the bulb next to the leaves w no hood...till I noticed I cooked a few :badday: ...so for now they get about 4 hours of hps and 8 hours flouros...

Thanks for the kind words dociron...yep 39 more days...lets watch it happen, knock on wood. Im thinking after 2 weeks of this fly by night lighting I'll get em on the 400 till the end...actually its a sun aggro 430 I think with an old old 400 bulb. At that time Id like to go to 17/7 for the duration :chin: I wouldnt mind finishing them under a metal hide conversion either...sounds crazy but I have read some threads suggesting the blue light gives more frost and smell...come to think of it the most stick to the bag indoor I ever had came from a mh 1000...hmmm...and these girls need all the frost they can get :yummy:

In keeping with the experimental and fly by night nature of this project...the plants will be receiving another 36 hours of darkness :yoinks: I have read of someone doing this 3 times...before 12/12, after week 1, after week 2...potentially cutting off some flowering time...plus I got someone coming over so it suits me in that respect too...of course the actual counting of days gets a little wacky...anyway...I can see some itsy bitsy calyxes in the nodes...well heres a couple mid day of day 5 12/12...see you when the lights come on and have a safe new years

still chugging along, looks like there starting to 'set up' a lil...lets have a look at the stalks....bedtime day 4

hmmmmm,, soiless mix? Looks like a "promix" of some sort, and is that a "bed style" grow? :chin:
Kewl!! That seems to be a contagious style of grow lately, lol

I look forward to seeing this grow out to the tasty end. :yummy:

You are of course, posting a smoke report are you not?
If you remember of course,, lol

:fsu: Hi I dont know if you heard about the storms weve had here in Northern California...my power has been out till this eve :badday: Thats about 5 days!!! So these clones have been in total darkness since my last post...and you know, they dont look that bad :woohoo: A little lighter in color around the 'nodes'. No magic hairs...def getting a different look...also I tucked a bunch of leaves that day when the power went out...so now they are getting a couple hours of light till their normal lights off schedule. So technically this is day 6 of 12/12....plus 36 hrs and 5 days of dark...heres what they look like right now... :chin:

....my pics are a litle vague...just cant get sharp

Dociron...theyre just in a tub that is slighly bigger than a milk crate w plain old fox farms ocean forest soil, living on water so far. Thanks for tagging along

...I think that prolonged period of darkness lanked them out just a lil...this is the end of day 8 of actual 12/12 lighting...

...they still look healthy living on plain water

...they're starting to sport some hairs

...but its hard to tell from my pics he he
