2 carbon filters, 1 room?

Has anyone ran 2 carbon filters exhausting 1 room? I don't really see it being a problem but I wanted to see if anyone advised against using 2 filters rather than just 1 bigger one.

The main reason for this is that I want to add 2 more lights to my room and I can't afford to build up anymore heat as I don't use an AC unit. I could upgrade my main filter to a 10 or 12" but I'm afraid of the noise that may come with it.

I have an 11' x 9' x 7' and basically want to set a 6" carbon filter on each side of the room (left and right). I plan to use AAW's with a fan blowing across bulb/reflector to send the heat back towards the scrubbers, which will hopefully exhaust it out of the room and into my lung area.

I am currently running 2 1k's with an 8" phat filter pulling from the room. It stays around 78-82f at canopy depending on the day & grow. I'm looking to add either 2 more dimmable 1k's so that I can run them at 600 if needed for heat issues.

Anyone think that this would be a viable option without adding any AC?

sup greenthumbdub, Sure you can do it.

I have close to the same size room. I was using AC during the summer with a 6" filter and fan in the room recirculating and a little 4" fan and filter exhausting. Worked great.

Now, I'm pulling in the night air for cooling and am exhausting with the 4" and the 6".

Works great
