2 and a half weeks/no flowers

Hello,

Scratching my head here.

Got some plants that are 2 and a half weeks into 12/12. Still no signs of flowers on some. Checked and double checked.-no light leaks.

These are tall plants. California Orange and KC33/Kush hybrid. Many did not have the preflowers before the 12/12 switch. Temps did get cool in the grow room for a few days.

Am I just being impatient or is 2 and a half weeks a bit long?

Thanks for any feedback.

check your pH. if its too high it will slow dlown or stop flowering

I would suspect that you would have seen something by now. I can only guess that the cold temps, have slowed it down a bit. I would take Irish's comment as well, as I do not know much about ph, never had any issues with it.

But a bit of hope for ya, I normally notice that slow showing plants are female

Yeah, thanks. I'll check the PH. I use Ironite on high PH. There are 4 females so far, 6 males have been removed and 15 unknowns.

What type of light are you using? What medium? My garden hit 2 weeks yesterday and are covered with budding sites. Have the plants shown signs of a massive growth spurt in the past 2 weeks or so? Are they healthy? Lots of things to know to see what is going on. Good luck!

Hi,

1,000 watt HPS. Soil.

Some of the unknowns are stretching. Did check the PH. It is at 7. I lowered it to 6.5 by adding some lemon juice to the water. I am hoping that that will help them move along.

Thanks

hmmm, in soil a pH of 7 shouldn't really be much of a problem. WHat Dr. Dog said about the temps might be it.

How long have these been going from seed? Or are they clones? If they're not sexually mature, they won't start to flower til they're good and ready, even with a 12/12 light schedule.

How old are they? Can you throw on some pics? Like I said, mine are day 17 in 12/12 and are budding like crazy! How big are the plants and containers that they are in? You might want to do a soil flush. Throw some pics on here. Good luck!
