2 600w on 15amp

Can I hook up 2 600watt lights on 15amp or is it a tad too much?

on the light some where there's the amp rating add both lights up dont exceed 80% of the 15 amp or you may just trip circuts. dont forget the amps the fans and anything else electric running in the room pulls also

120V x ?A = 600 Watts
600Watts/120V = 5 Amps per light.

You could run two lamps with ease on this cricuit and have 5 amps to spare for fans or other devices.

600 watts is just the bulb... you have to take into consideration the power the ballast itself is consuming, which actually bumps me up to 6a for each 600

on a 20amp circuit.... you should be fine with 2x600w on a 15a

my dual 600w ballast pulls 11 amps. It should say on the side of the ballast.

Good advice.
It's about what the ballast is pulling. Then as they start up they use more again. Doing the calculation W/V=A is all well and good and gives you a small/rough guide but your calculation is based on the wattage of the light, not the ballast and light.
A 150w light and ballast can use 500w at start up and then drop down to say 350w operating. Now the calculations you did based on the 150w means nothing. I'd say if you're gonna do your W/V=A calculation based on the light only then at least double it. Or actually check how much power your light really uses, using a multimeter. Click below.

80% of 15 amp is 12 so if I have 2 600w lamps which consumes 6 amps each(with the ballest) thats already 80% so I can't even add an oscilating fan or two?

You can try it and you'll probably be ok.
If you have the lights come on a min or two after each other you'll probably be even safer, but you're gonna be pushing the safe limit and if it's old wiring that's even more risk.
I run 2x600w on a 15amp breaker all day long with 2xexhaust fans, oscilating fan, air pumps, but i'm from a place that runs 230V so it works out better.
