1st time grower update. My training/growing progress so far. Need some feedback/help advice

So I tried training my plants by lst bending them down and tying them down and topping them and also probably another 3 or 4 I tried manifold and mainlining them. I’m growing indoor, but I do bring my plants outside once every 2 weeks sometimes once a week for probably 6-8 hours while I clean my grow room and make adjustments. But I just wanted some feedback about how my plants are looking so far as of problems or deficiencies and any advice on moving forwards as of training/growing. I germinated them on 03/27/23 and they sprouted @ like 03/31 I think they were seedling stage up until 04/21-04/28 and been in veg since then so their like on their 10th wk of veg/70 days veg more or less. So I would really appreciate the feedback and any advice given, can’t wait to hear from you guys

Do you guys think the 2 plants I took a picture of next together that I blended and tied down are bent to much?

I grow outdoors and indoors, but I don't personally do a lot of training, so I apologize I cannot be of much help on the training. The best advise I can give you though is, please don't take your plants outdoors. It's a guaranteed way of introducing pests into your grow environment.

Even I take a shower and change my clothes before visiting the tent, it's still hard to keep those pests out. Once you notice the pests/damage, it's too late, they are well established and it's hell trying to break their lifecycle and get rid of them. Pests are my biggest concern growing indoors.

Best of luck.
Peace

Thank you for the help I’ll be sure not to again I brought them in as soon as I read it I’ll be checking them and most likely be finding something to deal w insects w the plants and dealing w it just in case

i always have a green CFL in my bloom tents so i can work in there during lights out, green light is invisible to plants but we can see it just fine.

as to training i always found it to be too much a pain in my ass to bother with, i did it for a few cycles but i abandoned the tech pretty quick.

i grew verticle style with 8 plants in a 4x4, 2 plants to each side and with a 600HPS in the middle and i ran some plastic fencing around the inside perimeter of my bloom tents so i could tie back and anchor my plants as they stretched so it sort of looks like training but it was just to keep the stretching plants from growing into the light bulb.

here's a pic where you can see the fencing and the multi-colored pipe cleaners i used as ties to anchor my plants to said fencing, i thing i got the idea from Marlo and while i don't know if he is still active, if you search for his work he is a gifted and clever guy.

here's a shot where you can see the green CFL.

Really the only time one needs to heavy train a plant is if the space is limited. One trick to growing plants fast is not pinching at all. Every pinch will slow the plants down and prolong their growth.

However, it's common practice for people to top their plants. One of the benefits is to keep the main tops from getting too big in the end. If a plant is topped 2 or 3 times the overall bud size will decrease in size making mold less of a problem. Untopped plants grow giant thick tops and are targets for mold.
