1st time grower. long time reader.. just starting my grow need help :)

Hey guys, been around for awile and finally wana start my grow..

defintly need everyones help

Im growing power plant fem seeds and growing in 2 gallon grow bags..

i wana get a 600 wat hps or a 1000 but for my 1st grow im thinking more for the 600...

i have read htgsupply has a good rep but do they really ship with just plain brown boxes?
Do you all ship to where you grow?

I will be using fox farm ferts once i get them. the big bloom trip pack thing.

soil im not sure about yet i need to go see what LOWES and HOME dePOT has hah.

hi coors123,

i would go with the 600W also. You can get another 600W in the future instead of a 1000W.

I would buy anything from the net except lights. Many people do though, so there must be some safe vendors out there.

do you not have a hydro or a home and garden store other then HD or lows? if i were you i would go there first and get a better soil choice. Try and stay away from Miricle grow the soil is junk. there are a lot of soil tips and recipies on the site if you go to the search. ordering online is a little tricky. if you can have it sent to a nutral site with no plants or people smoking so there there is no trace to you cept your CC# you give to order. also try using an alius when ordering so as to protect your name.... gl and if you have Q's dont be scared to ask ill check in from time to time and chime in if i can.

htgsupply does ship in brown boxes

I wouldn't sweat it that much having it sent to your home - it is a risk, but minimal

Finding a hydro store and buying cash and carry is another option but it will cost much more - do an internet search and see what's close by.

people always say - have it sent to another person or what not - but then you've broken rule number 1 - don't tell anyone! -

IMO breaking rule 1 is a bigger risk than having a light sent to your grow site from a reputable source like HTGsupply especially if you are not in the midst of a big grow or ordering multiple lights.

pro-mix is widely available soil mix and is pretty easy to use

i do have a hydro shop around the grow house, but the prices were lol.. on htg supple i could get 2 600 watt set-ups for 1 setup at the locan grow stoore
