I added a cool mist humidifier 2 days ago, the following day it hadn't raised the humidity level so I took it back thinking it didn't work and got a replacement. Well a day later with the new one and it's still the same.

Does anyone know why? Should I get a warm mist humidifier?

It was in a 5'x2'x4' area the unit is good for an average size room.

Here are some pics of the mom's after cloning and of the wilted clones. I used rapid rooters for the clones and come to find out I was suppose to use root riot cubes. Well I hope they live. I sprayed the dome again today.

Thanks Dominican, that's alot of pages to go thru.

Well I transplanted my seedling today and I was right it was getting root bound, well now it has a bigger home. Checked on those OGR clones I'm trying to get and was told they should be ready by next Tues. Now I hope the clones I took from my mom's will take, that way I can get a garden going.

1 problem with the transplant the leaves are touching the dirt, hopefully she'll get some legs quick.

Have some tacoing going on in the mom's I'm guessing too much heat from the light. Took 2 bulbs out of the T-5 raised it an inch, moved the fans around and increased the exhaust. Hopefully this will take care of the matter.

Am I right in doing this? I'm thinking of doing a flush tomorrow in case it's a salt build up. They've been in the 1 gal containers 1 mo, is it possible they need a transplant? I would think I would get continued wilting like I did in the seedling if it was that.

I'm feeding every other day but no plain water in between.

what soil are you useing dude? some soils i have used i didnt have to feed at all till i flipped the lights to 12-12, As for repotting i usely do it when i see roots on the holes on the bottom on my pots, If there is roots over them chances are the roots are all over, As for watering advice all I can say it when there young and the soil is dry i give them another day of dry soil as this makes the roots grow faster, They grow searching for water in dry soil.
Ph soil 6.2-6.8 is good. Your plants are looking good though, Good luck with your grow
Peace PB

You guys are lucky to have this forum.I tried my hand at indoor growing about 1985 and it was definitly trial and error with no one to ask for advice.Sometimes I would catch a tip from high times mag. but I never really trusted them.I have seen Ed Rosenthal give advice to people that was just bullshitso I came to the conclusion that they didnt know as much as I did.The war on drugs really hadnt got into full swing so outdoors was really the main gig.So it turned out that my indoor grow was a great place to breed the strains I had at that time.I had an early kush strain that I used to bring the harvest time down on a colombian strain I grew for many years.Any ways, good luck and have fun.

Big Phil using Botanicare Ready Gro, they've been in this soil for a month now and I took clones beginning of the week. But even the 2 new ones that just went into the soil less mix show the same. So I flushed tonight when I got home with a ph of 6. Hopefully this will clear it up.

I'll take some pics and post them up.

Hi Brair, like the saying goes "why reinvent the wheel".

Here are some pics of the problem I'm having with my mom's. Am I right that it's a temp problem and/or a salt problem? And the seedling that I transplanted is also wilting, I'm guessing from the flush.

Soc the clones you took should do just fine the way you are doing things. I like to open the lid twice a day and blow on them for fresh air. do u have a heat mat under ur CL's? it could really increase rooting my days.
And are those perfect pots I see you using? (1 1/2 gal rose buds) I love those square pots they really help fit things together when you are doing SOG.
Happy grows my friend.

SB there is a heat mat under the clones, plus a temp gauge touching the water. I removed the lid for about an hr today and now the vents are open, I'll do this for 2 days then take lid off. The pots are 1 gal, in a month or so I'll need to increase the size if I'm going to keep them as mom's.

But I'm having a problem with the plants, not sure if the pics really show it but there are raised ridges between the veins on all plants. The transplant is also wilted. I cut it's lower leaves that were touching the dirt in the new pot. I'm not seeing any growth from mom's or seedling for past 4 days.

lol man you've pulled out all the stops and gone hightech.

Just a thought on the ur plants. you said you feed every two days. and now you just flushed. try watering less. I heard somebody up top say to let your soil go alittle dry before you water or feed again so the roots go looking for water. I find this to be very true. not sure if you decided to go with feeding soil using AACT. If you did the microbe population will keep your watering down too.

The vermi tea has microbes in it. When I water the mom's they'll retin a pint to a pint and a half of water/ferts. when I water the new ones and seedling I could change up their frequency. What is AACT? The temp gauge is an indoor/outdoor with a long wite probe attached, that's what I put in the water of the clones. Speaking of which I'm going to drain some of tat water out of the tray so any roots will look for water.

If there's any mis types I just got back from opt and they dilated my eyes, so I really can't see much on the screen.

OK I think the plants aren't having heat stress, they're getting to cold. It's dropped down to 60 in there and as high as 78, so too much of a temp swing. That explains the seedling and new babies.

As for the clones I took, they're not doing well. I took the hood off for an hour and forgot and it was off for 4-6 hrs. I need to buy a timer so I don't forget next time. I'll post pics later today.

latest pics. I think the clones are about dead and the others, I don't know you tell me what they're suffering from. the Sour Grape is getting bushy but also is raised between veins. Help me before I kill them.

Do you always take clones so tall? I bet mine aren't half that tall. I love the rapidrooters don't you? Do you keep a dome over them?

this was the first time I took clones. was told to cut them 4"-5" long. the rapid rooter, well let's say I haven't figured out how to get the holes to close around the stem properly. I'm switching to clonex root riot, which I was suppose to get in the first place, they're suppose to have smaller holes.

Have a dome over them but took it off for an hr twice, unfortunately I forgot and it was off for 4-6 hrs. So because of that foolish mistake they're drying out. Won't make that mistake next run. Speaking of which, how long do I need to wait till I can take clones from a mom again?

Am I right or wrong that the raised ridges between the veins is from temp stress, I'm thinking it's getting to cold at night. Around 58
