This is my first casing grow. I started out with only 2ccs left of a spore syringe and knocked up 4 jars.(verm/brn rice flour) Let the jars fully colonize then fruited 3 of the 4 jars, crushed up the 4th jar and transfered it amongst 6 pans of rye grain substate. Let the rye colonize and cased it with 50/50 coco/verm and added hydrated lime to a ph of 8.5. I let it colonize the casing til I could barely see mycelium through the casing and put them in the fruiting chamber. After about 2.5 weeks of no pins I submerged them in water and put them in the fridge for 12 hours, their growing good now. One of the substrates was contaminated beyond repair, so only 5 pans.
