thanks i did. its actually my 3rd gro the other 2 just reg 40 watt flouros. i did have 2 problems with it tho. one the temp was 90 to 95 with the light on. i haven't built a cool tube just a gro box tahts 4 feet high 3 and a half long and 18 inch deep. the other was the leaves all died off after flower was induced as in veg it was green and bushy. i used shults 10-15-10 and once used miracle gro 10-52-10 in flower then switched back to the shultz. now i have white rhino, k2, bubblicious , and nl x shiva. plus a mystery mix of 10 seeds! . what kind to start now? i can only go with 2 to 3 plants a time because of stealth and odor issues. i wonder if i should try 3 of the same or try to mix um. i would have a better chance for a fem if maybe it was all the same strain? i have now tested my new smoke damn i was stoned!!!!!! its a lil wet still but boy she packs a punch for being bagseed. well any advice?
keep the test plant and do some cloning experiment's
I'd go with bubblicious she carried a high rating at O.G.
Congrat's on the test plant learning now will pay off later
i already chopped it.the test plant was my 1st hps gro but its been done since last week .the trichs were cloudy and amber. i would like to clone but will not kno if its a female for sure or not. also i got only one box and can't veg and flower at the same time to keep up a continous cycle. i vegged this one for a month and a half or so? i had my gro on og and lost it so i lost how old she was. i was thinking bubblicious myself? hmmm wonder how it will be? anyone gro bubblicious from nirvana? how was it?
heres some better pix of my bagseed 250 gro. on 2 i tried to zoom in with my 30x loupe. i am stumped on what to grow out of my choices? i want low odor and big nugs? maybe nlxshiva?
You burned those plants (not with the heat either), get rid of those nutes. Look for something organic in liquid form. And still be careful not to overwater and overfert. You'll be fine, you've already done a great job.
thanks! what kind do u recomend? i use soil so whats a good one for soil?? i am willing to pay $30 or so but not $100's. I've seen that 3 part system or whatever but how much do u feed the plants with the organic fert?? i was feeding once every week or 2 and at the end didn't feed for the last 3 weeks. i also start 2 to 3 plants only.
Here's what I made with 250HPS. Strain is sensi star. I used all of the fox farm liquid nutes with fox farm ocean forest soil. You can get this stuff from a local hydro shop. Each plant produced about an ounce, 5 plants total, one gallon pots tied down. Pretty easy! Best bud I ever smoked, at least I think so
Check my gallery for a few more pics of this grow.
looks great!! how much is the fox farms nutes? also did u use full or half strength? how many times u fert ? once a week? is it the gro big and big bloom? sorry just curious?
I used all three nutes, veg and both flower nutes. The hydro shop had a little chart that said how much of each to use, week by week. You can ask for it from whoever you get the nutes from, it may also be on fox farms site. I actually went over the recommended dosage, they had a little bit of nute burn toward the end. I'll just give them the right amount next time I think, not sure if they benefit much from the extra nutes, I'll find out next time I guess. I put the nutes in the water every time I watered them.
Don't have a cow about the price, fox farm is a little expensive, I think the 1 liter (or one quart?) containers cost around $15-$20 each, the dirt was a lot, I think like $25-$30 for a big 10 gallon bag of it. I'm not sure if the dirt was worth it, you can probably find good quality dirt for less, but the nutes are a pretty good deal I'll continue to buy them.
I was going to do hydro but I got such good results from dirt and it was so easy, I'm going to keep on going with dirt
