I'm pretty sure that it will run biodiesel without any modification.

from the R10 simply a work of art. 5.5L V12 twin turbo diesil engine bent at a 90* compleately redesigned from the ground up by the audi company. it wone 1 first place in the Le mans in 2006 and it was the first time a purpose built diesel engin had been built. while there was no limit to the engine that could be used in the le mans no one had simply done it before. 650BHP and 800 ft/lbs of torque with an incrediable 5000 RPM redline. that is where the R8 got its start.

thought that beast was bio...
it was bently's outline for ethanol i was confused with. makes sence ethanol is almost direct replacement for gas, and with 99% of the time it has 50-100+ hp increase, while decreasing emissions.
props to audi on a diesel racer... although in my area diesel is $4.50+gal vs 3.95 for premium... this is the cheap stations. if you want chevron its 4.75d/4.25p + what a rip.

this will tune up to a top speed of well over 200mph
Think yourself lucky for your prices, until diesel became popular in UK it was always cheaper than petrol, as it should be, it is cheaper to refine from crude.
now in the UK it is 10p litre more expensive....converting to US petrol is $9 gallon and diesel almost $10 per gallon.
