150w LOC x G13,jack herer x white rhino, MOD grow

heres my icmag jump off everybody. i just finished constructing my cab and put my seedlings into flower. i started off germing 3 licorice orange crush x hp x g13, 3 jack herer x white rhino, and 3 menage et trois seeds in shot glasses and then put under a cfl when they sprouted taproots. one of the LOC x G13s runted out as did a J x W so I have 7 under my light in a mix of perlite and organic choice MG. i have GH nutes, epsom salt, N.L. fat flower, and molasses that ill be using throughout the flower period. im also starting to germ some of Rez's chem d/sour deez, cherry bomb II, sweettooth #3, and some columbian x biko, but i might wait a few days so i can switch in some bottle rocket . sooner or later ill set up a mom chamber and grow from clones but for now from seed is okay with me. updates to follow...same pot time....same pot channel....

looks promising. how are you dealing with ventilation? also, when you flower try and keep that 150 as close to the plants as you can

cjk is correct, you could probably get that sucker a little closer, whered you manage to find the cherry bomb beans?

you cant see it in those pics but i have a 50cfm nu-tone vent fan in there. i know youre supposed to have them real close, but with this reflector if youre too close it makes more of a beam then a spread and the beam is pretty hot to my hand so i backed it off to see the different effects. i was able to get the cherry bombs off the bay when it was a weekend special.

very cool. is that the 150 setup and reflector off of ebay?? maybe you could throw together a cheap little custom reflector to spread the light more. with a 150 you really want to get it down there with the plants

yea it is, got it ordered before i saw the remote ballast modifications. ive lowered in 3-4 inches from where it was so as long as it doesnt burn the tops ill be fine, temps are veeery low inside thanks to that fan, id say high 70s low 80s in the light but low 70s outside of that area. one day down 7 weeks and 6 days to go lol

just gave them their first shot of nutes with some epsom salt added. its starting to look like that spotlight reflector is causing burn spots....if it doesnt go away im gonna have to remove the reflector and possibly add some cfls or another 150w hps since temps are no problem at all. the LOC X G13 are showing purple on the stems now since being put under the hps. tomorrow i drop my next round into shot glasses, mmm rez double deez.....

thanx J roc...i came home to find the first female showing its pistils it was one of the jacks rhino freebies i got (jack herer x white rhino) the leaf burn problem its still only in one area and hasnt gotten worse, ill post an update later today or tomorrow to take suggestions wether i need to remove the reflector or not.

both LOC x G13 look like theyre males....one MOD might be a male too...but on a good note both jacks rhinos are female. Well ill take the males as motivation to drop some beans...

i was right, both LOCs are male, one MOD male, the rest female. I went ahead and dropped 3 chem d/sour d, 3 sweet tooth #3, and 3 cherry bomb II into shot glasses...heres shots of the males and new stock.

just checked my germing seeds and i haze to say rez's shit impresses me. are 3 chem d/sour d had germed, with one having a 3 inch taproot running through the paper towel. 2 outta 3 cherry bomb IIs germed and were dropped as well. none of the sweettooths popped, so i put the back with the one cherry bomb for another day, if they dont come up i got another double deez replacement for them

sorry to hear about the males. better luck next time? looking forawrd to watching those cbs grow out. the jrs too, been a huge fan of white rhino for a long time, seems like an awesome cross. good luck, hope you dont mind im here for the rest of your journey....

What are you're MOD girls looking like. I have 3 going on right now and based on what I've seen, I think that mine are of the Cinnamon Haze x Dreamweaver line. Just wondering if you had some good pics to compare them to.

yea shatter, it was crappy that both were males, if it was one and one it woulda been great, but i got 7 more beans of those to try. the JR's are reaaaal nice, love the set up ive got, theyre easily double the size of the MOD's still in there.

beej, i think I got both indica leaning ladies, the male was the taller one, these are both squat. my lights out for now, ill have some shots of em up for ya around noon tomorrow.

update: one of the chem d/sour d seeds I put in soil earlier is already up and out under my cfls, good signs!

looking good! did you transplant yet? those cups are really tiny; the plants would love bigger containers...

yea bud, i did my first from reg to 16oz cups, then ill go from 16oz to 1gal at the end of week 3, possibly sooner if they show problems. if i had a bigger area the containers would be a size up already but its a micro for now.
