Nice job!!
if you want to run 2 fans, you do have to make sure the total amps of both fans doesn't exceed the total amps of your power supply..for example..If your power supply is 12 volts with 1 amp of power, your fan(s) total amps can't be over 1 amp..I have a Delta fan too and its amps are 1.6 so I need a power supply HIGHER than that..my power supply is 3 amps so I can run that 1.6 amp fan plus more if I need to..You have to be careful about this because you run the risk of a fire or burning out your power supply..that happened to me but luckily I was home at the time..
Its hard to see what amp your Delta is so its okay to run 2 fans off the power supply as long as its amps are higher than both fans..
Hope this helps..

Thanks for your advice!

I made the math and it seems to be ok! I got other pic with better resolution so you can see the label of both DC and FAN...

DC Adapter
DC_ADAPTOR.jpg

FAN
FAN1.jpg

1 x DC Adapter is 800mA... so .80A ?

2 x FAN (.30A) = .60A

.60A < .80A = No fire hasard.

Right? :p

EDIT: I just taught of something... if the power supply amp produce enough amp for both FAN... why do they slow down when they run at the same time?

well you are only 200ma over the 600ma for both fans running. now who knows the fans could actually be higher ma then they report. i would try to find a 1amp Dc just to give you more room.

Any ideas where could I buy some cheap DC Adapter?

I don't found any one with 1 AMP... So just to be safe I guess I'll connect one fan on the DC Adapter and get another DC Adapter of like .5 or .6A for the other fan!

No fire please

Very clean looking setup - about the fans, they should run at full speed if you've got them in parallel, basically all the positive leads connect to the source positive and all the negative leads to the source negative. Good spot for the adapters is radio shack or the source or whatever it is now, they sell big AC-DC power supplies, also if you want it cheap go somewhere you can get used electronics and just find something that uses a DC power supply, cordless phone stations are a good place or old video games..

bro i have your solution. Get a gamecube power supply. 3.25amps of 12v DC. It'll cost you 10 bucks tops.:smoke:

and what RJE231 said explains your half speed fan problem.

Exactly what I done... still the fan drop power after I connect the second one... go figure... will take more picture...

Hopefully I'll have some germinated seed tonight... We will plant them!

After I plant germinated seeds... should I just moist the soil and turn the light on? Or should I let them in the dark a bit before switching lights on?

Update 28 Jav 2010

I planted 7 seeds!!! To my surprise, 7 seeds have germinated so far... by the look they had, my guess was that only 6 of them would pop... 7 of them had so far and I guess more will come..... I can't believe the seed germinated... they were very very old and very very small! Unmature like!

So, I planted them about 2/4inch deep almost uncovered of soil... sprayed some tap water on them gently... leaved them 6-8 hours in dark and they are now under 52W of CFL @ 6500k with the light running 24/24.. Wish me luck! :dance013:

The setup once in it's position is quite stealth... Now I need to find a way to hide the power cord...

Update 9 Fev 2010

It's time for a new update don't you think?

I think they look relatively healthy..! One of them have weird leaves. and some other seems to be always tired... the leaves bend downward if you know what I mean...

Temperature is around 65-75'... Humidity around 20% (might be too low?)...

What could cause bending leaves? Humidity? Temperature? Soil moisture? Soil Mixture? Airflow?

Here's a group shot.
group_shot.jpg

Side shot to explain what I mean but leaves curving downward... next to the arrow... you can see the distance between the plant and the CFL
side_shot_curved_plant.jpg

Here you can see a plants with some weird coloration on the leaves... what you think this is due too?

I bought some Perlite, Vermiculite and some Blood and Bone meal so I can get a better soil when I transplant them in bigger pots! :D

Could just be a weak seedling, what kind of soil are you using? It could be a combination of things, i'd stick them under a humidity dome myself. It might be light intensity doesn't look like you're running the HPS though... That's weird about the fans spinning at different speeds. I've found that there's a slight dip in voltage with some cheap adaptors, and the cheapies aren't actually 12V, they're in and around 11.5.

I'd say the bending is from overwatering myself, let the soil dry out a bit, then stick them in fruit bags. (pour some water in the bags and give them a little shake, drain excess water, place plants in them)

Dose the mr.speckles with a dilute nute solution, that should hopefully get rid of the spots.

Thanks for your time microgram.

I will find another supply for the fan but I still have time so it's not a priority.

The HPS light is not yet turned on... they are currently under 2 x 42w 6500k CFL. I'll switch the HPS ON very soon...

The light are currently running 24/24... should I start a 18/6 schedule?

I'm not sure what you mean by the fruit bag thing? Do you suggest me to use a light plastic bag, put some water in it, shake well so the bag is covered with water drop, drain water and place the bag over the plant? And under the light? Kind of a humidity dome?

I'll stop watering them for a bit and vaporize water in the cab more often so it is more humid... and wait for you answer!

Thanks!

Update 16 Feb 2010:

The plant are not doing very great... I'll need some help I think!

One of them dried out and died. I didn't watered them for almost 4 days because I was thinking that I over watered them and that's why they were so curved. The little one didn't liked it! He died... I should have watched him more carefully!

I watered them yesterday with 20-20-20 nutes at about 1/3 recommended dose and they doesn't seem to care... They were looking like that before I water them with nute.

I mostly water them at night each other night. Yesterday was the first time with nute. Should I water them with pure water next time or I go with nute again?

Closer shot so you can see better the leaf problems

are they on a scale?

water them when they get lighter, not on a schedule.

that little one was doomed anyway, don't worry about it. And look, the others have perked up.

Can't help you with the nutes. I just give water.

Yeah that's exactly what I meant. It'd look fairly goofy, but I think they were just brought up in too harsh of an environment. I always start my girls out in a humidity dome, then slowly stress them into a normal environment, as goes for almost all of my plants (seedlings&clones). The weird demented leaf shape tells me that it may have been too cold for him, personally who knows, but it's still a sign.

I'd say use plain water for the next watering (Less than normal), see if they get significantly better, and if so, water with nutes.
I would have kept note on how long ago they dropped their cotyledon and how fast they did, it's a rough ballpark estimate on how they use their nutrition. or how much more they might need it. (obviously seed #234 who popped and dropped his cotyledon by day 14 will need nutes sooner than clone #235 who dropped his seed leaves on day 32)

And Mad was right Water when they want it, not schedulized (until they mature a lot more).
