Hello, SlowCalaToker. Thanks for the tip. Your setup is looking good. My screen has 84 squares. I had planned on vegging up to the outermost squares but that's only 55% covered. That may be too early to flip.

I got another tip to avoid flowering too soon. The grower has 100% coverage but the growth is on/in the screen instead of above.

I might end up flowering when the last available squares are threaded. I hope to get 2.5 to 3 inches growth above the screen so I'll cross my fingers.

It's weird how this hybrid behaves like and indica under the screen. It's typically leggy when sogged. It may throw me another curve in flower so I'm just guessing atm.

I'll probably sog this one in the future. The catpiss is a more aggressive vegger. It might be a better strain for the screen.

Anyone know how long it takes a weed plant to recovcer from having its roots trimmed? I got a ok sized space and have found that so long as the plants have light i can geta oz of one plant under almost any lighting condition, so im throwing 4 plants under my 150W which should yeild round a 1/4 pound. So info on this would be awesome. Ill also be starting them 12/12 after a week of veg grow. Strains are Pure Afghanx2, Lemon Skunk, and A random seed from a killer bag i had.

EDIT: Question about my HPS light, I gutted it and remounted the light and such. Does that big box thing, not the ignitor but the other thingy lol, will it get hot enough to burn the wires/ i dont have them touching it, but just in case.

Are you talking about transformer? The wires should be fine if they're not touching anything hot.

A little late is better than never, as promised here are some pics of my 150watt grow which has now come to a close. Sadly, this is like to be my only 150watt grow as I have moved up to larger space and lights. Though I am considering a small cabinet to use the 150 I still have.

Yes my girls were leggy, it was a learning experience.


I did not take any veg pics of the girls, only really got "excited" once I started flowering.

And some pics of the Cali Orange hanging, sadly no post chop pics of the one widow that made it through my first grow.

I began this grow with 9 clones, 5 Cali Orange and 4 White Widow. Of those 4.5 survived my very bad vegging process (3x CFLs from Home Depot in lamp reflectors, very stretchy ladies and some just could not compete since I did nothing to train them, survival of the fittest). The .5 is one plant that I tossed outside as it was just not fighting for space well enough, I left it there for two weeks and rain and shine pushed it to flower, I brought her inside and gave her a place just on the edge of the footprint of the 150 and she kicked out a nice little 3/8 of an oz. Sadly no pics of her.


All together I pulled just over 3.5 ozs off a 150, lucked out and got no hermies, even though they flowered in a leaky non light proofed area and had many disturbances during their dark hours. And I learned a load of useful information.


The smoke off my Cali Orange plants is magnificent, smooth and orange tasting, very potent at a 20clear, 50 cloudy, 30 amber ratio. I fear I did not flush my White Widow long enough and so with it I am left with a nice oz, of powerful as all hell, tastes like pure ass smoke.


I will continue to grow but alas I think this was my one 150watt foray.

Did anyone on this forum ever buy "color coded" seed from greenhouse seed co.? I bought some of their seed and am having trouble germinating them. I normally have about a 75% success rate in my knowledge/experience in germinating seed. I read somewhere that others were having problems with "color coded" seed. I got frustrated and just went down to my MJ Dispensary and paid for three AK47"s. From now on that is the way I am going just buy the clone from the MJ store.

krushonkush, wow that is a lot of nodes! It looks impressive, but I thought you should know something I've observed from some of the pros. There reaches a point where you will get more yield with less flower sites not to mention how much easier they will all be to harvest. I have no idea if your close to this threshold or not. I'd love to see you try and do a scrog with the 150w vertical. That would be awesome!

76 days old.
60 days since i changed to 12/12 and 43 days since they showed sex. 10 days left before planned harvest.
