I have owrked over last year on some research on microgrowing trying to get a "suitable to my needs" good closet.

I guess that getting 100gr (3.5oz) every two - 3 months could be a simple goal just for my needs, more if I can get some outdoor stuff to even winter consumption.

After several small tries I got the attached draft. Which is still being improved so it can be "all auto".

Irrigation, lighting , vent, etc. Resources ($ and stuff) are missing to improve it a bit more some things has ben left out.

So then the actual diary has started a bit ago, and it is on day 20 of flowering.

Lets see what happens.

Ill start posting closet layout plans and construction result.

So; in the growroom we have:
Right Back to fwd:
2 Hashberry (mothers); then just cutted 4 Hasberry, and in front 2 Arjan´s Strawberry Haze,

Left - back to fwd: 1 Passion #1 and 1 Ak 48; then 1 Lemon Skunk, 1 White rhino (growing and tiny); And last 2 Shiva shanti, 1 Megaton 1 just cutted from the flowering mothers.

I had the same problem once, I just cut a hole in the cap of a two liter bottle, cut a piece of hose and stuck it in the hole and taped it. I'd fill the bottle with the water and nutes, screw on the cap/hose,and poke the hose in through the undergrowth. But I had a tray to collect the excess water into a container. It was pretty ghetto but it did the job.

thats a great tip and i do that all the time for other applications. you can drill a hole in a 2liter bottle, get a sprayer head/nozzle from an old spray bottle (e.g. windex, tilex type) and 1/4" tubing from petco or pet store.

all you gotta do isdrill the hole small enough in the cap so that the line fits snug init, give yourself enough slack so that the line goes all the way to the bottom of the bottle and youve got a nice lil sprayer for those tight to get into spots, leave yourself about 2' to 3' from the cap to the nozzle. i dont really like having to hold the bottle up, its always to walk around it at arms length while you spray

a 1/2" female connector (HD gardening center), 1/2 black hose (HD near plumbing sect.), 5gl bucket, 2' or 3' sprayer nozzle (walmart), a 200gph pump and an extension cord and youve got yourself a long range feeder for when youve gotta get to those plants all the way in the back

well, its been 5 days after I started "treating" the closet.
Basically I decided not tu use chemicals, pesticides etc. So i did firstly a mix 50% / 50% of water and alcohol; I read that the alcohol may kill some of the spiders, it wont kill all, so that was ok for me; I did the first application on Monday and te last yesterday (Thursday) Meanwhile I kept the humidity in mid 50s and up (I even went up to 80 on peaks; it seems this bugs don't like humidity. Today I can guess I have around 70-80% less spiders than on Sunday (they had like 10 poker tables, a few soccer matches a cool reggae party then...)
So I´ll update pictures on Sunday.

Friday..

Friday..

5 more from Firday Night.

Still some Spider Mite, bt nothing to worry about (now), its staring to get cold (winter is coming...), and as i have it outdoor, the lower temperatures have been around 15º Celcius... and its been topping 25-27, humitdy as i explained, i have kept it not lower than 50% topping 80%, sometimes. So I think this plus the alcoholo mix, has been making the deal with the "bugs"...

Ill take some more pics tonight, as it will be the weekly session..

So the next 5 from yesterday, (i was bored so I took a few)... also on Fiday I added some compost tea I made with 45% worm humus, 45% homemade compost and 5% molasses. blowing 48hs and then in the pot... around 1 litre each plant.

The soil when I switched to bigger pots (last week),was a mix of 60% mixed soil (just buyed from a guy), 20% womr humus, and 20% compost; also I added some smashed bone powder...

lo,
at the top of the page, go to your "My IC"
now, at the left of the page, there are several menus.
go to Edit Signature.
now you can just type in whatever you want, or hyperlink a thread or insert a pic.
hope that helps..
