150 cadet units going to comprehensive schools in the uk

micheal fallon minister for whatever is putting 150 new cadet units in secondary modern schools or comp schools,,,,
I read this and its very worrying,,,,minister micheal fallon said these cadet units would help install millitirial and british values in participents!,,,,,
i still am wondering if i read it wrong and its a journo having a wind up???
if not then whats next,,national service???????,,,,s2

We have them in the US also. Its called JROTC. Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. Students learn about the military. Here it is a voluntary class students can take. I would worry also if it was a mandatory class my kid had to take. Like D.A.R.E..

Sorry but cadets are no reason to worry. I did the cadet thing and here i am. Cadets are a wonderful program for economically disadvantaged youth. I spent 9 years and manged to travel all over and even over seas. I walked away with a pilots license, gliders license, solid knowledge of firearms and there safety, scholarships for university, and so many great memories and other experiences.
