15 plant, 1400w grow

Hi

I have a room that is 15ft by 6ft and is 5ft tall

I have 2 * 400W and 1 * 600W Grolux HPS Lamps

I also have 1 *200W and 2 *125 Watt envirolites ( only used for flowering)

The HPS are celing mounted and the enviros are used for bottom lighting ( i have them in christmas tree holders which puts them at plant level)

I have white plastic on floor and walls and Mylar on the roof, 2 Fans, a co2 system and a fresh air supply. Temp is 85 lit and 65 unlit and the plants are grown in 15LT pots organically. Bio Buzz and Canna products used throughout

I have done 2 grows with dissapointing yields, 1st was with nirvana supergirl feminised plants ( 12 ) vegged for 4 weeks and flowered for 8. I got 22Oz total
2nd grow was 10 TOP44 and 5 Mr nice shit. Top44 were vegged for 4 weeks and shit was vegged for2. Total yield was 30Oz

What can i do to improve yields, flower from seed? Veg longer? plant less plants but veg for a few months??

And what seeds do you think will be best for max yields

Whats your soil mix, ph of water, ph of soil, feeding schedule, ventilation, air movement, humidity, we need more info to give an answer.

I'd say with just 1400 watt's and you pulled 30 oz's pretty impressive in my book's .

Well from seed I would go at least 6 weeks on veg for indica, but 4 weeks for sativa with only 5 feet headroom. I wouldnt be that disapointed with 30 oz's from those lights. I grow with 1k lights and 2lbs from one light is do-able when dialed in with the right strain, but I am happy when I clear over a lb. per light.

More info on my grow, PH 6.2 (soil) , humidity 60%, feeding schedule as follows

1lt water per day per plant, 4ml bio bloom, 3ml canna bio boost, 1ml pk13/14 (for this week and next only. i.e week 5 & 6 flower), 2 ml fish mix bio buzz. This is done every other watering, i.e 1lt water monday, 1lt water & nutes tuesday, 1lt water wed, 1 lt water & nutes thurs etc etc

Used super thrive twice, once before flower once last week ( week 5 flower)

size of pots is 15lt

Mix is , 60% bio buzz topmax, 30% generic peat and 10% guano and worm castings

Canna bio boost seems to work well, anyone else using it??????

My night temp is less than 70 degrees, do you think this is effecting growth???????????

Ventilation is no problem at all, air is turned round every few mins

Water is ph 6.1 when tested

Do you think i need to upgrade my 400w to 600 w light??????

Need all the help i can get, i am hoping to get 40oz this grow!!!

TOTAL WATTS - 1800 ish

Hi

I had a look today and the seed pods are really swelling

I pulled one off today and it still has hairs poking out of it but they each have a very very small seed in at the base, about 1mill long.

Do all plants have a incredibly small seed in the bottom of the seed pod OR have they been pollinated somewhere along the way??

Ill post pics later tonight or tomorrow if i can magnify the image so you can see

Ive never took a seed pod and looked inside during a grow before and i read on weedfarmer that the seed pods have a small seed in the bottom but it only grows when pollinated therefore forming the ripe seed. If it doesnt get pollinated then it just stays there but doesnt grow

that's a loaded question! It looks as others said like u are doing pretty well. I'll just attempt to say a few things that have worked, no claims of master grower here. Are the lights air cooled? A root tonic like rhizotonic has done miracles for me...more roots equal more fruits. Make sure u have plenty before flowering...whether the plants are 6" or 3 ft.
Instead of thinking of plant numbers -think in terms of canopy, whether they be topped, sog, scrog etc...scrog is actually the ideal canopy, but approximating it with another method is still good (personally don't like plants trapped in screens). Light penetration is only effective to a point, but popcorn below that point is still more than nothing. Clones give greater yields in the long run though they may not be as vigorous as seed, by way of uniformity and the predictability of you knowing axactly what they need, rather than guessing because it is new. Other than that I would say optimize the environment, genetics, CO2...the list goes on, there are always more improvements to be made.

additional co2, just remember you need a temperature of 90F during light hours (be sure not to go higher) and try not go too far below during night, which means installing some kind of heating device of your choice.
