15° & dropping what's the worst that will happen

My furnace took a shit tonight, day 60 of 70~75. What's the worst that will happen if the temp gets close to freezing. I'm going to wal-mart for a space heater or three. I know my veg room needs one, will the flowering plants be affected much this late in the game?

As far as I have read, it shouldn't be a problem if the plants are exposed to cold air for a short period of time, hell, some even flower near 0(depends on the strain of course). But, as a 1st time grower myself(just burned 2 seeds because of organic fertilizer), I cannot speak out of experience, only from theory.

Just went ahead and dropped a few hundred on space heaters. It didn't get below 60 in both rooms.

I'm keeping my room at 20-25°C most of the time, granted it's very small (150×100×150cm or approximately 60×40×60 inches), so I only have to have 1 heater set on a timer(3 hours off, 10min on), as the room is in the attic and the temperature there(around the grow box) is from 4-11°C (39-52°F) at the moment(winter).

Ya, 60 is good, but it got much colder with no heat last night. I bought space heaters, and will use them to try to keep my on/off temps within ten degrees of each other. House heater is fixed now, but they well be good to have just in case

Dont stress it in fact this can be a good thing. I usually set the thermo into the low 50's-high 40's at night for the last two weeks to induce senescence. Make sure your day temps are in 70's You will see major swellage as they try and finish before "winter" All the chlorophyll will be broken down and amazing colors will appear as the lack of chlorophyll unmasks the anthocyanin and carotenoid pigments. Purples, yellows and sometimes reds appear. Plus it will be the best and smoothest smoke you've had. For the last three days keep them in the dark with ice on the roots. Not BS it really is THE best way to finish off your plants.
