12x18 room 4k watt

hello IC new room is 12x18 for now i will start with 4 1000 watts i have 4 raptor hoods i just finishing off the outdoor crop inside now and then i will set this room up like i said im new and was want some advise on total lights and set up i really like walkway in my room for easy maintenance but i see alot of set ups that are wall to wall not sure best for the canopy any and all advise is welcome

is it 12x18 just for flower.. or is it both? . kuz u could split the room in half and use a flip flop.. and get 4 lights per room .. off the 4 ballasts u have.. they will be running 24 7 .. but u can have 1 harvest every 30 days.. and in the winter.. u can have 1 room heating the room with lights off to keep ur temps good..

or run the entire room but grab more lights.. or if u want.. if u got mag ballasts.. u can use 2 600w bulbs with a sunpulse splitter.. per 1000w... so u could have 8 600w lights in that room.. some say they don't run well with a splitter.. but that's absolute bullshit.. I have a friend who did 2 normal 600s vs 1 1000 split to 2 600s.. and got 22 grams more with the normal 600s.. so the diference isn't that big at all.

Walkways are great until you start calculating how much light your wasting. That's when my space starting getting smaller isles and conveniences.

I run 8 k in an almost identical size room.

All of your questions depend on your goals. Sounds like you have a killer kit to start with.
