I have a 1200 watt LED with a strip out inside it so now exactly 75% of the light is lit up 900 watts exactly 30" above the plants (5 4 day olds n a cheese clone)

5 50 watt LED fs strips on 3 surrounding walls at 12-24" off the ground

1 50watt single Light clamp at 26" above plants

How should I adjust my lighting in my closet ?????

I am Ordering a Grow tent tomorrow 48x32x60

Closet Dimensions - 59X39x80

6 plants total in coco with roughly 1000 watts LED FullSpec at 30" high.... I think the plants are growing slow for almost 5 days old tonight

Any Suggestions on how long I should Veg for ????

What additional watt HPS should I get to flower the 6 with my current lights in my 48x32x60. ???

when should I top/train my Whitewalkerkush / Huckleberry kush if I have limited space with 6 plants ??? Not much height with 60"

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME 😇🙏🏼🌲🌺🔥💯💡💵💰

you dont have 1000watts, where did you buy the light? ebay? amazon? your setup probably draws 200watts at most. typically with powerful LEDs (rapidled.com , timbergrowlights.com ....) you want to keep them around 20-30'' from the tops. According to your picture, the led light you bought is total junk. not even worth running, get yourself a cheap used 600hps, they are everywhere. LEDs work amazingly well if you can afford the good ones.

what is the actual draw from the wall? from the looks of the light, if they say 1200 its probably only 600-800 actual watts, at most. Either way, the important thing is light intensity. No one will be able to tell you a reliable distance. Use a light meter and gauge from that. If you have a new phone you can even download a light meter app that will work well if you have a quality sensor on your phone. Even though lux isnt good for measuring LED, on a budget it works well. Keep seedlings at around 20-30k lux, 40-60k in veg, +70k in flower. Its an overly simplistic way to do things, but it worked well for me before I got better equipment.

Ive currently got 2 plants going under a "350 watt" *(220 actual draw) from 2011, in the last week of a 13 week grow and I should get at least 3 ounces each from them. How you use your LED matters a lot more than just buying the expensive light.

if you're in a closet, i'm assuming your only ventilation is an oscilating fan. find a way to temp check your canopy and raise it until temps high 70's. you can grab one of those gun thermometers on amazon for real affordable and theyre incredibly handy

I am just about to start flowering in a 4 x 8 tent, with 10 Vero 29 Gen 7's, running at 1100 watts. Wouldn't I want the lights as close as possible, as long as plant tops do not go over 80F?

I will take some lumen readings once I move plants in.

you can get away with a little more heat with leds, up to 85 at canopy level is fine.

The farther the lights the better, but only experience will tell you.

also too much light when the plants are not ready for it stunt their growth, Its for sure best to start at 30'' from the tops and let the plants grow to it, then decide if you want to keep raising the lights.

I start plants with t5's, then veg with 400 or 600 watt MH. I only use the LED's for flower, at this point. Might get some 6500K LED's in the future.
