I currently run 2 1k hps & 3 600 watt hps all on adjust a wings, I have a two ton Mitsubishi mini split, & a quest 155 for dehumidification. I have CO2 tanks and the room is totally sealed. My ceilings are 8'. Everything runs smooth, but I was wanting to upgrade to the gravitas 6/750 flex with the EL1. My question is how many of these gravitas can I adequately fit in my room without overheating it. Also any light layouts would be much appreciated, I've emailed gavita-holland a few times with no response!

a bit tight on cooling with 6 x 750 w

a bit tight on cooling with 6 x 750 w

I work on BTU figure fo r AC
2 tons i make 23,912 BTU usually 5,000 btu per 1000 w
you 6 x 750 is 4,500w needs 22,500 btu so you dont have much spare
But with co2 depends what temp you planning ,i would geuss 80f to 85f your ok maybe itll run down to 77 f depending on wall cieling n floor insulation and heat from dehumidfier.A

Hey id be interested to see how you do with gavitas
I notice detail a lot ,i usually add about 20% of total light in with 8 k colour metal halides.
Like an 8000 k blue 400 w metal halide hanging vertical bare bulb. between 2 1000 hps.A

Run the 750 gravitas so you can report back on them I love my 1000 de gravitas but I'd love to know how the 750's do in lower ceilings

I think I'll be ok with the 8' ceiling. I run SOG with 48 plants, I can easily keep the gravitas 36" away from the canopy if need be. I will post back with my results. Also I am putting up orca film on the walls.
I hope my room can handle the gravitas 6/750's!

I attached pictures of my current light layout in my room. The other picture is what I think the light layout of gavitas should be. I want to light the whole the room like gavita recommends with some wall spacing. Any thoughts or opinions would be much appreciated.

I used this post to figure out my layout, mainly:
https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=246000&page=2

there is another one also but i forgot to copy it. From my understanding gavita wants users to light the whole floor/footprint and use overlapping with refletive walls for optimum results. With that and seeing same thing sort of mentioned in the coco tree thread I'm lighting the floor and packing as many buckets as possible. my isle will be temporary until I have dialed in my environment control and can automate my room for little to no human intervention.

What would be the +/- of using a combination of the wide and normal reflectors? Sort of like their adjustable angle reflectors wide in the middle and deep on the ends.
