Im fucked. I have been growing for many years. I have never had problems like i am haveing now. This last year i got a huge house to work with. The ac is a peice of shit and I live in tropical climate. I just had a harvest that was the smallest ive EVER had. I usally pull almost 4 bows at my last place for 2 years at least. The same strain, nutes and coco.I have a portable ac in flower room. I couldnt afford a ac for veg room yet. so i know my temps are fucking rediculis. I figure its the heat. My plants are growing slower. they look lankey and dont have to much foilage. I also got some used bulbs for my lights for free. I found out that the bulbs had been uded for 6 cycles (ouch)! How much lumines would those bulbs loose. what should i buy first, ac or bulbs. I am trying to keep my cool, but i feel like i failed. I have been growing the same strains for about 5 years now, and never had a harvest like this.I would really like some input, thanks.

VEG ROOM:
diminsions- 10 x 8
lights- 400w, 2 bulb 4" t5s for moms
plants under 400w- 30
RH- 60%
temps- day 88F (max), night 83F (i know its fuckin hot)
I keep my clones in 1 gal coco for 1 month till i transplant into 2 or 3 gal
RH- 60%

FLOWER ROOM:
diminsions- 12x12
lights- 4 1000w
plants- 12 per 1000w
RH- 50%
Temps- day 77F, night 78F (max)

your temps look fine to me in flower. i just pulled over 1.5lbs with one 1k on a mover and 9 plants with the same temps. veg temps are high so throw in some more fans to keep air moving around. i say get new bulbs asap.

I would bet on the lights, for sure-- I have all my plants outside...gets over 100 degrees every day...and they are doing fine--
I work in a commercial grow also, and we just went through an issue about bulbs...we were having prob after prob...and we hooked up 2 new lights...and that area flourished!! So changed all our bulbs, and BAM!! Problem solved--:yeahthats

Sorry to all who replied. I ended up cutting my losses and had to move. I was growing island sweet skunk. the plants did not look so healthy in veg. after putting them into flower the hit a monster strech. I took alll my moms and moved into a smaller house for a couple months while i look for a new rental in central florida. My nodes spacing was stupid spaced out in veg. what is the longest you have used your bulbs for? it might be my strain as well. that was my first thought. i Had never grew 100% island sweet skunk before. Can a mother loose its vigor if stressed out over time then clip her when shes healthy? would this have somthing to do with tiny yield. The settup was soooo expensive that after yielding so poor, i had no cash for next crop or elc. bummer.

Gotta jump in and say "LIGHTS" too. I had the exact same problem when I had a bulb fade on me.

Temps are fine :joint:

Get ya a good bulb in there :yes:

trust me.

i pulled the exact same numbers as you (12oz off 2000w)
my numbers are a lot more shameful though considering my room is loaded

my a/c is the shit temps never got above 80
R/H was good
CO2 Generator supplemented.
we had spider mites but i knocked those fuckers out once and for all.
running 8 plants w/4 weeks veg in recirculating DWC.

The #1 reason for the failure was bad AK-47 sativa genetics. And the decision to only run 8 plants.

I have the same pheno as my friends. they havent had the same problems as me. i was able to get 70 clones off another strain tonight im really happy about. I have never grown this new strain out yet, so crossin my fingers. I really think you guys are right about both the bulb and genetics. I cant believe i havent had a good harvest in 6 fucking months. Thank you all for your helpful info again. I do miss OG, but IC has really helped me out. Before i start freeking and start feeling like all the shit i learned over the years wasnt enough to save a grower from breaking down shop. Im just keepin moms and babys alive till i find a decent place.

Your temps are not fine. You need night temps in the 60's
