Is this a new home lou?
If so, grab the old energy usage statistics from the power company.
Tell them you want the average useage from the meter of this home.
Check it to your first bill and if you have excess, that is free wattage.
then add the 1000w per room. It is a very safe bet.
That equals out to having a computer and tv in each room.
Or a tv and heater in another.
A small space heater is 1000-1500w all by itself.
They wouldn't flinch in the least bit over 2000w.

There are ways to "manipulate" your meter where it runs, without having to"turn it upside down" and all that crap.

I know people who have done this, and it's been like that for years. It just slows down the "disk" in the meter say 1 turn for every 3 it should....

In my neck of the woods, the meter reader no longer has to walk around and get a visual on every meter. The meters have a transmitter that they can read from inside the truck as they troll by. They still might notice suspicious activity. I have no motive to try to steal with only 400W of grow.

i know a kid who grows in his house who he has roomates with.. and he has 9 people living in a 5 bedroom house.. and they pay 1700$ a month for electric.. theres an AC a big screen .. xboxs computers and more in Each ROOM.. and a 7000w grow ..

i don't get how his was that high .. but i have a feeling that ventilation and AC will bring ur BILL SKY ROCKETING if ur using the wrong size shit to exhaust and cool.

I repeat this a lot. Some people really worry about the wrong things. Sure if you HAVE to run 20+ lights in one place then yeah take the chance in stealing it. More than likely you'll have FPL down here knocking at your door using that much power on the meter.

In a 3 BD apt. I was staying in a while back with my folks was using 100+kw a day. IDR the exact number I just remember saying damn, that's enough power for 10+ bulbs @ 12/12 (w/ no AC). Another place that was built <1950 was using around the same amount. This place had 5 window bangers and old appliances.
