12 day old seedlings leaves CURVED, twisted, deformed (pics)

This is messed up...

These are 12 day old seedlings, a bunch of different strains. They are kept in a greenhouse. Not all of them look fucked up, but most of them. ?!

Some of them seem to have mechanical damage, even though I just can't imagine how this could have happened!!

They're planted in 60% perlite and 40% 5yr old rabbit shite and dirt. I've plants planted in 100% rabbit shit and they are totally fine!...

Overfed maybe? Heat? Underwatered? Something else?

I don't know... Please let me know what could it be, should I dump these and plant new seeds, are they irreparable now, is it worth it at all...

Looks like begging of damping off from rabbit shit. Hope I wrong. Anyway if you choice to plant new seeds try to avoid shit

Thanks maimunji. I looked into that. It seems that the mechanical damage is real, the perpetrator admitted dropping some damn stick on my seedlings...

So it's just the leaves issues. Plus, they look sort of weak and thin?? And underdeveloped. Also some of the baby leaves point upward?! A few also had trouble breaking out of the seeds itself, even have one whose leaves are still stuck in the shell. Some look rather normal just a taad weak and some look straight up ok.

I have to figure out wtf before I start the new batch as it seems that I will have to do that.

They have been receiving rather not enough water..

I've taken care of the light thing.

The genetics are known to be good for sure. Mostly Boddhi f2's and such that are tested. It's something in the environment...

Maybe there is something in the dirt. Check roots on one or two. Or maybe some kind of pets do this. Try different things hit some with good fert. Flush some. You have so many seedlings.

Is it warm in the greenhouse? Cooler temps after sprouting keep seedlings from streatching.

The rabbit poot might be to much for seedlings.

I had something like that happen once, turned out to be thrips in my case.

Could also be soil born virus or some of the other reasons listed above.

I suspect whatever it is it came from the soil.

Doesn't seem like overwatering to me your medium doesn't look that wet, I think it's either too far away from light(s) or crappy genetics. I'd leave em be they might grow out of it!

Nitrogen toxicity is my call. Never heard of planting seeds directly in manure, or a high ratio of manure. Shouldn't add fertilizer until the first true leaf set forms.

Ohh and five year old rabbit shit? Long time for microbes to break that shit down to be readily absorbed by plants.

Quick one as I am pretty busy: bottom line, no one seem to has seen this exact type of leaves deformation. I started another batch of seeds in the garage, in starter mix from the store. The deformed batch is not doing so well, some of the plants are coping better than others. I might use them at my backup spot if they look worth growing at all.

Be sanitary with your new batch of seedlings. Tend them before the mutants just in case you have the dreaded broad mites. Good luck this year!
