New room looking good at 11 days into flower.

OG Kush ghost cut from S1 seed, home built recirculating hydro setup.

7 Plants, 7 600's in reflectors, 8 1k bulbs hanging.

Didn't have time to turn off the hanging bulbs and wait for them to cool down to turn back on, but I will get some better pics with them off in the next little while.

Cages are made from 2x4" fencing from home depot. Little over 3 feet wide each, and 4 feet tall off the container. Idea is a kind of verticle/horizontal scrog. Played around with google sketchup until I got the most illuminated canopy surface area possible.

dalilguy, Can you explain the flavour from the ghost OG you had? I only germed 3 of the 10 seeds, and kept two. One was very lemony with smaller buds, the one I kept out of the two is more earthy/hash/coffee tasting, larger buds. I'm curious what the actual OG ghost cut is like, since I'm working from S1 seed. I'm going germ the other seeds soon and see what else I have.

Figured I'd post up my homebrew chiller. Cost me $120 to build. By measuring the water flow out of the chiller, temp in, and temp out, The BTUs work out to 4125 BTU/hour, the same as a 1/2hp chiller. Easily keeps 260 gallons cool. I'm going to be throwing some more load on it, adding another 100 gallons to cool from a veg room. Nice thing about this design is that I can just put another titanium tube into the chiller res and cool a completely separate system with the same chiller.

Lotta attention to detail in this room S....Respect....What size is the room and .....is there any way to open up the cages to get inside and take out sucker branches off the main laterals while opening the plants up and out more for better airflow and lumen penetration/absorption after end of stretch and swellage ensues.....anyways....

Everything that can be home made is. Lots of money saving involved, but no skimping on quality. Entire build was less than 10K.

Room is 17x11.

Cage is large enough to fit my hand through to take off leaves and branches inside the cage. I can't get too far in but if I need too I'll just cut one rung out and make a few access holes around it.

Had the vert lights off today and remembered the camera so here we go, just under a week since the first pics, day 17 now.

You can see some of the plants are bigger than others, they didn't have enough space when vegged, and were only under 1200W, ran into each and stretched a bit, a couple took over, the flower room wasn't ready yet. Will be using two 400's and two 600's on a moving rack for next round, with way more room for each plant, they should be much more even and bushy. Veg time in the flower room was only 9 days, planning to get it down to 7 or even less, negating the disadvantage of large plants.

Time to do some more defoling soon. Leaves are a little droopy cause the ladies just woke up, still running high humidity at night, but cutting that out soon as the swell continues.
