12/12?

How soon, if ever, do you have to change to 12/12 with an AF after buds form? It would seem the more light, for as long as you could, then the faster the growth. I apologize if this question seems stupid. But I couldn't find an answer searching. Doh!:tiphat:

Well you shouldn't have to ever switch to 12/12 to help/induce flowering with a TRUE AF!
If for some reason you want to save electricity then you can do it - best advised to give them as many hours of light in their veg and stretch phase, but I think it's safe to say you will lose out on potential yield.
Obviously the more hours of light you can give it during flowering the bigger the buds will get in that time.
cheers, MC

As a hugely experienced autoflower grower (I am on my 6th strain, see hugely experienced) I leave them on 20/4 from start to finish.

No 12/12. You just plug it in, and never unplug, except in cases of emergency. Take your "timer money" and buy more good seeds.

Not a single reason on earth to do differently, your search yielded you the absolute correct answer.
