And its still not swollen, pistils are basically all cloudy white any suggestions? it could be root bound i suppose its in a two-liter and is lst'd with 9 branches under cfl's nutes at my disposal: flora nova bloom, koolbloom, epson salt, grandma's molasses let me know what you guys think thanks its a bag seed mid grade strain btw

Thats the gamble you take with bagseed, its not meant for indoor grows for the most part and will take forever to flower in a lot of casesFlowering under flo's doent help matters lol.Its more productive to buy a strain bred for indoor grows, some are pretty inexpensive

Floridian is correct. A LOT of bagseed is outdoor grown with strains that do poorly indoor or require a very long flowering period.

You may also have too much heat, nutes or light leaks. Check your timer(s) as well, many times they're not functioning correctly.

Usually root-bound produces hermies, but not always.

That's a completely different question from your first one and highly dependant on your grow setup. How many 'actual' watts per square foot are you running? Do the tips of the leaves look burnt? How much of each product are you using per gallon? What's the pH of your solution when you're watering? What's your dirt? Lots of variables here that would determine an answer to that.

Have you checked for light leaks yet? Checked to make sure your lights are coming on at the times the timers are set for? Are you over 85-90F during lights on or below 65F at lights off?

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:

hydro-soil I thank you for taking the time to try and help me :D I'll try to answer your questions the best I can. First off I don't have a PH tester one of my problems I am sure. The soil mixture I am using is 2 parts perlite, 1 part MG organic choice. When I was feeding with Flora nova bloom it was 2 tsp per half gallon, I was using a half gallon because its only one girl and on the bottle it says to change the water so its fresh every week additionally I was adding a tsp of molasses and a smalllllll amount of Epson salt maybe a pinch. In the last week ive been using cool bloom less than a 1/4tsp per the gallon. In the last few days its been tap water. It takes the water very well. by the next day its ready to water again the top soil is dry and the container is light. I'm using a small cab its 4x18 its fitted with 3 42watt ecosmarts pointing down, 120mm comp fan for intake and a 60mm fan for exhaust. Its been kinda hot outside, ive switched to using 2 of the 42 watters and a 13 watt. The schedule is 5pm on 5am off. There is some browning to tips on the leaves and alot of them have brown entirely and fallen off someone was saying how sativas do that? Anyway I hope this helps ill be checking back to see if anyone has left feedback thanks guys

The mg organic choice sucks. Thats half the problem. Screwed me up a few eons back. Only start flowering nutes once.you.start to see fuzz. They dig on the nitrogen for a while. I would repot it into some decent soil, promix or sunshine would probably.be available to you in fl. Go back to veg for a while a get her going again then. flower. tjat mg oc sucks monkey nuts. screwed me up hig time. and if you arent sure on the ph, add 10ml of lemon juice per gallon. Should bring you into an appropriate range. Most tap water is around 7 or pretty damn close.

Mexican bag seed will flower for an eternity. FYI, floranova at 8ml/gallon is about MAX for most strains. You are feeding 20ml per gallon which is insane, that would explain why your leaves are frying.

ummm, you're saying the pistils are cloudy white...Do you have a 40x loupe or even better a hand held microscope at around 50x-100x magnification?
You should really take a look at your trichomes and see where they are at with colour. If they are clear, then no where near ready. Translucent and you're getting there. Opaque and almost done. Opaque and amber around 25% to 50% amber...PARTY TIME....All amber...pluck that baby quick!

As the rest of the people are saying, if it's an unknown strain, you can't really go by the 'normal' method of checking but the trichomes don't lie...

Just a thought...

hello all im back with an update ive since purchased a ph meter, very cheap one a ph-009(i) ive been trying to calibrate its been a week or two since i got it anyway I used bottled lemon juice the ph of it is supposed to be 4.0-4.5 I set it to 4.5. After the calibration, my run off is 8.1, a gallon of tap + 10ml of the bottled lemon juice the ph is 5.8. I also transplanted into a one gallon container. The buds are good width and length they just arent fattening up but the top nodes have had continuous growth and are still producing semi cloudy pistils as far as the over all pistil percentages id say it has 5% brown the rest are cloudy to clear white. Thats where i'm at i wish my buds were fat lol!. thanks for stopping by have nice day.

Hey SOGIT try 10/14 its a cycle I've used in certain situations,Also you soil mixture has too much perlite bro,you should never have to water every day under any circumstances.Every third or fourth day is what I shoot for,you need to complete the wet/dry cycle, right now its just wet/wet lol

wet dry cycle is bullshit. i have had soil mixes and watered every day due to lots of perlite ect. plant didnt care one bit. just more watering for me.

How about a posting a pic? I run 10 hours of light, 10 hours dark like florida said....it's worth trying.

there is a direct correlation between strength of light and speed of ripening.

cfl's usually make buds take a lot longer to ripen...the stronger the light the faster they ripen...the plants right under my lamp are ready 2 days before the ones on the outside edges...i gave some of my clones to a friend that flowered them under cfl and t5...they took around 12 weeks to ripen, and these are plants that ripen in my grow in 8 weeks! granted his cab might have been a bit underlit...hard to say, because in reality all flouro grows are underlit, no matter what the watts per square foot...you can't seem to get more than 8000 lumens in a flouro cab no matter how many lamps you stick in there...sure plants don't see lumens but it's relative...the more lumens the more light in the plants favorite spectrum... so cfl buds always take longer and the buds don't really get all swollen and dense like with real lights...sure the individual calyxes might get a bit bigger toward the end but the buds are usually too loose and fluffy to ever plump up in the same way that real pot does under a real light...it will be just as potent...just harder to fully ripen, and it will take longer to bud, and the buds wont be as full and dense as they could be...

you see the same slow ripening when people try to make a 600w bulb cover double the space it's made for, like a 5X5 tent packed to the limit with buds...they usually take several weeks longer to ripen than normal...i've seen this scenario several times...

Keep in mind that indoor strains do better outdoors than outdoor strains do indoors.

Your shortcomings here are genetics and light. Time to think about an HPS after placing an order for some beans.
