I almost shed a tear bro! That look's so close to the dimension's of my FIRST TRUE cab aswell (Back in HS...)! I had 2x42W and 2x26W horizontal back then... Id go 2 42W vert just like pictured after seeing Sgapetti's thread! Get a big pc fan (80-120mm) mounted on that back wall, in the middle, resting against the roof. I churned out some good budz in that sucker back then, glad to see you not so cramped bredren!

it's a huge relief neekz. I just got my socket splitters and added another daylight cfl, the more the merrier right?

Just put more potting soil on top it doesn't matter.... you are just supporting the gangly stems from falling over as for nutes don't get all hung up on it... If it were me I would get some all purpose miracle grow the stuff high in nitrogen for veg but seeing as you're going straight into flower there is a high phosphate fertilizer called super bloom you can get from the garden center that should be enough to carry you through just get something to test ph

Yes, and most plants that survive "dampening " end up stunted a bit, till their roots recover. Good thing they are too, cause I just imagined tryna grow in an aquarium, and am cramped just thinkin about it.

I'll be sure to do that, i used a whole 97 cent can to get it to that point, but you know, you get what you pay for.

Do you think it would be a good idea to put a mirror in there? like one that women use with the handle on it, about 9" x 9" maybe, because i have a broken handled one and if it would help i'd slide that bad boy in there.

Apparently mirrors will reflect alot of heat as well , burning the plants up

Helllz no not a mirror! They absorb the light more than reflecting it! Just have it coated 2-3 times with flat white and you will be reflecting about 90% , that is good enough bro!

What type of water do you use to water with ? Tap ? RO? That matters. You should get one of these cheap soil testers they are useful and very cheap.

Another thing you should limit that space to only 1 plant man.. you will have alot better results and you can focus all your time and effort on 1 plant instead of a few and being new to this that will help out ALOT!

Ok i'm quoting this but i'll take a bit to address all points.
More paint, that's gonna happen.
I started out with tap water (high in chlorine, i know this cause i take baths, if you see the water looks real blue in your white tub, well there you have it , a little research and it's correct, lot's of fucking chlorine in my tap water,
Recently i had seen a colorado guy, take a jug of water and have the sunlight hit it for a day to evaporate the chlorine, i started that and i think it should be about evaporated.

BEFORE THAT i had a hawaiian punch jug, used tap water dechlorinator, because it's per gallon, i can't put a 1/4 of a drop in a water bottle, i must not have cleaned the h punch jug good enough. I saw a floaty film in the water after a day or two and got rid of my dechlorinated water supply. sucks.

I'll check out that link, i need some serious stuff to take out the "guess work".

And i don't want to put all my chickens in one basket, so i'm deathly worried that if i do that , something will go wrong man. That takes alot of time. Perpetual would be nice man, to keep me independent.

Kiwi i did see your advice and i appreciate it, that's been over, honest. I was going to quote you TODAY but i lost my reply earlier and marked the post as "helpful" until i could come back. Your advice , and your former threads, have been very helpful.
Although we got off to a bad start, i respect you and so does IC.

After reading the "CFL Club" thread, people on there tend to believe that 6500k is veg and the lower one (can't remember exactly what it's called right now) are better for flowering.

So i added in the other socket splitter, and put one of my old cfl's , and one 6500k on it. Hopefully this will improve my yield.

I believe it's 23 actual watts x 4 so 92 watts , i guess. That one lower kelvin bulb i put is the one that is not the spiral shaped one from previous, but is the bigger more intense bulb i had , it looks like a bunch of really long lower case "n"s.

That bulb i'm talking about is apparently a "self ballasted lamp" is what it says on the side, and it uses a little less actual wattage.

Oh and for de-chlorination, I think the container has gotta be open air for the chlorine vapors to escape. Not seeing any sign's of it on the lady's (We hope, fuck balls lol!), but just a heads up.
