My plant is 2 weeks old and it is lookin great! Im doin the 12/12 from seed method and i was wondering how long it takes the plant to show sex when doing 12/12?

Generally speaking 3-5 weeks.
I've had Sativas go 17 weeks. Mostly 14 is the norm.
Indicas 11-14 weeks.

its bagseed so im curious to see the sex..will it show between the newest nodes?
I begin to look for sexual expression at 18-21 days. Usually overnight a couple of little white "hairs" will appear at the very top area of the plant, if it's a girl.
Little round "balls" would indicate a boy.
I use a 10X loupe to examine the area. Once it's confirmed a girl it gets transplanted with absolutely no disturbance of it's meager root system and then placed under 400W HID for the rest of it's short life.

I'm sure strain has a lot to do with it.
I have a 12/12 from seed grow going now. My ThaiTanics and Satori showed sex beginning at 15 days. I knew sex of all of them by 21 days.

One of the ThaiTanic colas at about day 44 of flower Day 65 overall. The Satori should be finished in a couple weeks. The Thai may take a week or two longer...So about 90 days from start to finish for the ThaiTanics

i have a mostly sativa and i couldnt tell the sex until like 35 days. i only vegged for like a week. now shes like 57 says with a good bit still to go.
i like those big dark shiny leaves on that sativa floro. the way it looks seems like its fruitness taste for some reason. (i dont have any reasoning behind that) can i predict the future?? tune in next week on reasonless predictions! haha but really dude. nice plant looks good.

mtweedman.....Thai tanic is a great strain. If you don't mind me asking.. How long did you veg? also how was yield? I am growing some right now and I wanted to know what to expect.

85-90 days on most hybrids is average. The difference in the buds you will see will be branchy sativas or indica spears and everything in between.

I didnt veg them at all. They are 12/12 from seed. Sprouted around August 8th. Sprouting occured over a week or so. They showed sex around August 25-29th or so if I recall. If I had to do it again, I'd veg them till about 6-8" tall. I have limited vertical space, so I did 12/12 from seed to make sure they stayed short enough. I have another month for them I think. Should be ready about Nov 8th, but it will depend on the trichomes. No use in rushing at this point. The pics were on about day 41 of flower, a couple days ago.
The three taller ones are about 32-34 inches tall. The shorter one is maybe 28".

This is #4 and the best of the lot. I'll try to reveg this one and the short one, which is a nice plant too...even if she does have a lopsided head bud LOLOL!!

Here's one of a Speed Queen f1 at 21 days. The little white hairs just showed overnight.

I began with 36 seeds of 4 different strains( a mistake and I don't recommend anyone doing this LOL) Satori, ThaiTanic, Cali-Orange, and Ice. All four strains showed sex with 21 days, some as early as 15 days. So you can see that your plant should be showing soon.
Node spacing was pretty tight on all mine except the Satoris which are extremely vigorous plants. At one point the Satoris were twice the height of the ThaiTanics but the ThaiTanics had twice as many nodes!!!
Don't worry, they'll show sex soon. The males showed first for all four of the strains I had...and that is usually the case in my experience. Don't get rushed. You'll have a few days to a week to positively ID them.
Most males show their nuts pretty clearly if you give them a few days once you see "something" in the upper nodes, 5th 6th on. Give the plant time to clearly express its sex. The tops on females get that "feathery" look as they begin to flower. You'll see. Keep the plant healthy. That helps heaps in getting it to flower.
