Not really sure why I started my flower light cycle this way... I have the lights on for 11 hours and 45 minutes, while the lights off period is 12 hours and 15 minutes. I guess it is because when I started growing I read somewhere that plants make buds during the lights off light cycle. I also read somewhere that some people even run 11 hours on, 13 off. Don't really know why... I think I also read that some people do this towards the end of their life cycle, probs to increase trichomes, potency and maybe to mature faster. I guess what my question is, and what I am getting at is-do you think my ladies mature a little faster because I run the light cycle like that? They always seem very frosty with pistol hairs already turning color before they should actually be done. Or against what the flowering time should be. Didnt really know where to ask this question, but figured Med may have some input. Thanks

I've done this before but on small runs...I think if you were to flower a plant thats vegged for two months on 11:30 she'll finish two weeks sooner but wont give you as much buds...So if you were to choose between phenos for this you could find one to suit your needs, meaning she'll give you enough of enough quality to make the 11:30 worthwhile.

hey bobo

mutliply your flower cycle by the minutes. thats roughly how many days you ciould subtract. but like i said, 15 minutes isnt much. at least 60 min would change things ,ore
