11 finger leaf?

Is this normal?

And all the other plants have 9 finger leaves.

My theory is CMH is such superior lighting I am growing super mutant weed lol !

Hate to burst your theory bubble but your CMH has nothing to do with an 11 bladed leaf. Pure genetics buddy. Indica=less than 7 blades, sativa=I've seen up to 13. So I think your plant has a smidge of sativa in it. Glad you like your CMH though. Good luck with you and yours.

I've noticed in growing and other growers talking about it, a higher number of blades to a leaf could mean male. Just what I notice kind of, my females usually tend to stay between 5-7 blades. Peace

I have a SuperSilverHaze that is about 33 days old..been in 12/12 for about a week. Its big fans now have 11 "fingers". My last SSH had some lower fans with 13 fingers.

IMO, it is more strain related/genetics than anything else.

I am under a 400W CMH also, and I had a plant revert to pushing 3 finger leaves, HUGE ones!!! Though I don't think it had to do with the light. The clone is off a 6 month old mother so I think it is dying to bud!

BTW I love my CMH, the plants are SO bushy and compact and are pushing out HUGE fan leaves!!!

i'm w/ those that say it's the genetics & also agree it is a sign of the plant being healthy... now if the number of fingers drastically reduce on their own in veg the plant is experiencing stress of some form.

Its genetics.In the 80s, we used to grow gorrilla style with mex. sativas they would get about 15ft tall and have 13 fingers.peace,Fuzzy

I know this thread is old as hell and i dont know if anybody is interested but last round of white urkle i had some bottom fan leaves with 13 fingers, middle finger being 13in long and 3in wide.Grown in my Diy UC,peace,fuzzy
