Apologies if this is in the wrong place.

DJ Short recommends flowering 11 on & 13 off. He says it will lead to better phenotypic expression & I'm considering trying it out next run.

Has anyone actually done this before & if so, did you stick with it or nah?

Yeah I do it more often than not. It is what my timer is set on now.

Not sure that it really does anything at all except save some electricity. Good enough for me.

I believe you could find information about this in the ace seeds forum. I believe this was mostly intended towards NLD types, but either way that forum has people growing tropical plants with 100+ day flowering cycles. They do the sub-12 light cycles
