i just wanted to chime in(and subscribe), because i've always been into LEDs and it was just recently i found a ballast that would work to use the LEDengin emitters i've been following for years now and have always wanted to make a DIY unit from.considering certain short comings in my current set up, i think this thread just might just make me get motivated enough to build it.

was good for only one plant, space is equal to 4 pots
the substrate was of poor quality, lacking in humus, and more perlite,

the next grow will be with grapefruit(femaleseeds)x4
I hope to get production there for the all space
