1000watt + 400w??

I just upgraded my flowering light from a 400w HPS to a 1000w HPS. I just hung the 1000w and the plants love it!! My question is, should I put the plants directly under the 1000w or should I space them out and hang the 400w verticly in the middle since I have it laying around? Will this significantly increase bud production. I have 2 Hindu Kush, 1 Pineapple, 2 White widows on day 33 of 12/12. They are roughly 36 inches tall. Thanks!

the more light the better thats all i can think of and if u want increased bud then try lst or topping or super croping

Maybe I wasn't clear enough, i am at day 33 in flower. Hard to LST or top now. Should I put them directly under the 1000w or spread them out a little bit and put the 400w in the middle? Thanks!

i reckon the 1000watt directly above... and if you can move the 400 to the lower /side branches, hit them with some light. *shrug*

hard to say without seeing your room.

getting the 400 in either way you choose will only help. so, anywhere you can get in, get it in.
theres no exact science here. sometimes ya just gotta do what ya can.

id go with the second one but not put both lights side by sad and then have them all together?
