1000w Strawberry Bubblegum + Reveg Grow!!

Wassup all...
do you guys know how annoying it is to come on icmag.com and see all the cool things the people on here are doing and not be able to do it yourself because of the lack of a stealth spot to do it in? Trust me its pretty damned annoying..
anyway ill stop rambling... we solved that problem by one of my good buddies who is refinishing his basement (Thank God).. He built a very stealth room, basiclly all we could ask for and the perfect size for the light we have and the room is very well sealed with spray foam and caulk. Passive intakes and a stanley blower (thanks icmag) for room.light venting hooked up to a DIY carbon scrubber (thanks icmag) hidden in the rafters above the room and venting into the basement

the room is about 7 ft long by 5 ft wide with like an 8 foot overhead which is sealed from the rafters with plywood..

light:1000w sun systems dual bulb 600 hps and 400 mh sealed with glass

soil: 5 gallon buckets with promix, perlite, vermiclite, bone/blood meal, and dominant lime

water: tap water with molassas (1 tblsp per gal) might use some half strength shults 10-15-10 and see how they react now that they are entering flower but im hesitant bc they look so good now..

and the ladies we have are 5 Strawberry bubblegum and one reveg (repotted from a 3 to the 5 gal bucket after some serious regrowth took place...) this was my 1st attempt at a reveg and it went off with out a hitch which i am very happy about. its nice to have a lil variety
the beans and the light were gifted to me from an old friend. He told me they were feminized which i confermed today when all 5 showed female after 7 full days of 12/12. HELLYEAH! although i think we let them veg a lil long for the space we have. i think going with ten plants in three gal grow bags will be a better use of space in this enviorment. but thats in the future

as far as time frame these sexy bitches are about 6 weeks old, and the growth from this light is much faster then im used to being an outdoor / rubbermaid grower so its very cool to see the difference more power can get you..

here you can see the 1k in the foreground it will be connected to the stanley blower via 4in flex duct asap. and you can see the exhaust going through the roof to a DIY carbon scrubber hidden in the rafters and venting into the basement.

ohh yeah the blower will eventually have a bungie to hold it up not that ghetto string... but you really cant hear it outside the room ( i have it on setting 1.. it goes up to 3) 1 seems like more then enough right now

just a lil update...
checked everythng out yesterday, things look great, the stanley helped them wayy more then i expected.. might actuallythink about putting in some insulation or a small heater...Buds are forming everywhere and things look great. ill get some piks next time..
we took some clones tho





had to hit the DIY again for the cloner... everthings running fine but i might need to get another hetaer cause the shitty walmart one doesnt do the job very well

it looks like you just drilled tiny holes in your lid for the cloner. you should drill out holes at least 1/2 " and use foam plugs or something to hold them in place (or just use peat pellets since you're growing in soil anyway...) WIth holes that small you'll most likely tear off lots of roots when you try to pull out the clones.

your overall setup looks good, though be careful how much space you try to cover with that light. You might want to pack everything in a little closer than you would with a normal 1k, just becuase the intensity on each light is a bit lower and so, if im thinking about this right, the effective range is decreased over a normal 1k single bulb light. I do like the choice though, especially for personal smoke, as MH lights are know to add that extra resin to the buds while hps can bulk them up.

Like it was mentioned before, be careful when figuring out how to split stuff up, or if you're even going to do it. If you're really lucky you can just toss your friend some extra cash each month to cover his/her electric bill and hope they don't want extra compensation for the risk of having it at their place and the work they put into it. Sharing a grow like this can get complicated quick. Remember, if any problems start to arise, friendship before herb is the rule to follow.
BTW, make sure your friend knows about the whole 'don't talk to ANYONE' rule cause if he/she talks, you'll most likely get effed too.

haha, good times is always good for a deal. I go there for more expensive pieces and full tank for tubes and smaller stuff. Nicer people in full tank, but not the same prices on headie stuff.

Ya I seewhat you mean about the cloner. I'll cut those out and use a pool noodle. The clones look healthy but they haveonly Been inthere for a few days. I agree with you aboutthe light. We move and rotate the babies with every watering.as I said above I think 3 gal grow bags would be the most effective use of space in this room. 5 gal buckets just take up to much space.
As far as splitting goes I'll prolly get all of whats finished after he takes what he wants for his head. then I will have to make up what that sum was by my own means. In hoping to get a fairly sgnificant amountthat I'm obv trying to make the best it can be so I can get my investment back quickly.
Im not goin into specificks but this mystery person is a verygood/trusted friend and i would not be doing it if there wasnt mutual trust and a solid commitment to eachother.

yeah tactic -- they def all have heady shit... that yellow bubbs is also from good times.. i mean you could spend hrs lookin at all the cool one of a kind glass in those shops.... my next purchase would be a volcano tho...
