1000w shut off without breaking circuit?

Hey all, I have been having an interesting problem with my new 1000w setup(hood, ballast, bulb) and was wondering what you thought about it.

I have it plugged into an unused circuit and after 15 min just the bulb shuts off. The circuit doesn't break and the light on the ballast stays on.

I dont think it is a power issue with my house just by the fact that the circuit did not trip. Is that a good reason to think so(im not super experience in electricity)?

If it is not the house, could it be bulb or ballast?

Or even the hood, I have an adapter on it to go from hydrofarm to normal ballast input.

Specs:
-1000w Solistek digital ballast(not the one with numbers screen)
-HydroFarm radient 6 hood
-Hortilux super hps bulb.

It was the Ballast. I threw in a 400w bulb and same thing happened after 30 min. I went to the grow store today and the same thing happened in store so they replaced it and the new one is working fine
