1000w SAD and pakistan ryder grow

so i have finally made the big investment on a nice indoor. i have a 6'x6'x6' tent with a 1000w hps/mh with a nice big hood.a 4" fan with carbon filter. a smaller 3'x3'x3' clone tent that i plan on using t5's paired with red and blue 100w 12" light.

so first question of course is what is the best way to use the rockwool cubes in germination. i have done my reading and i know that i have to soak them, but can i have some advice on the prep work. as in do i use the paper towel method to germinate the seed and than put it in the cube or do i just put the seed before germination? i have 4 pakistan ryder auto flower fem seeds. 4 SAD autoflower fem seeds and 1 northernlights x skunk and 1 afghan kush x skunk.

i will be setting up my grow tom in the man cave and i will post lots of pics. i hope to make this a very in detail grow so the more tips the better!

I believe it's best to germinate the seeds in paper towel til you see the tap root then plant in rockwool cube. Just poke hole with hanger or something and insert seedling. Also don't forget to ph the water before you soak the rockwool. Also you are going to need bigger fans than the 4in you have now that will do nothing in that space with a 1000w bulb even if it's air cooled. I have a 4x8 tent that I split in half to turn other side into another flower cab, I'm running a 1000w horti and believe that space gets hot! I tried running bare bulb because in the other flower room there are 3 1000's bare bulb and able to keep temps under 78 degrees but the cab is another story. To make long story short had to run a fool tube with 6in fan also a 6in fan exchanging the air. Hope that helps, PEACE!

thanks for the tips, my basement is fridgid, so i was planning on using the light to heat up the tent. is that a good plan?

Yes the light will heat your space up how much don't know. Problem is if it heats it too much. You are still going to need bigger fan for air exchange the 4in will not exchange fast enough you don't want mold or pest problems from stagnant air. You will also want to get some type of temp monitor to keep them in check. PEACE!
